Saw Spark.
Was good. Solid 7.5/10.
Sat close to a man in his late 60s/early 70s. Told him how funny it was for him to come see this (politely). He replied that animated films are more interesting than live action nowadays. He either was honest and had a pretty cool opinion, or was an old school furry. I will never know.
Cool blog.

If he's talking about normie-core cape and action movies, then yeah. Animated films are more interesting. But if he's talking about all live-action films, and not just mainstream Hollywood movies for manbabies, then he's showing signs of elderly dementia and it's time to put grandpa in a home. Western animated films are trite and rely on the audience either having terrible taste or being so young that they can't see the clichéd plots coming the moment the first scene happens.
At least there's finally an animated Science Fiction movie with a Unique* narrative.

looks like it should be a TV special, not a million dollar movie.
