It depends of what is or is not canon.

If Marvel Knights is canon, then 2000 mercenaries were killed with a nuke on an island.

If Marvel Knights is not canon, then probably a few dozen at most, possibly less.

In MAX it'd be 30+ I'd guess bare minimum, probably higher.
