Lois, late to the party, missed the scoop.
>>91559915
>I don't know
Wait does Clark not know he's adopted?
>>91560150
Not yet.
>>91559915
>H-three-double-hockey-sticks
What did she mean with that?
>>91560238
One of disney channels better original movies
>>91560150
>his parents didn't tell him
Are they that stupid?
>>91559915
Yale's universe confuses me. They don't have secret identities and they walk around like normal kids (in costumes), and most of the time are treated like normal kids. I guess I was under the impression it was no big deal in this world, so I'm surprised to see Clark with fans and people being surprised by his powers. I guess that's what Lois' character is supposed to bring to the table.
Also, what the fuck made that car spontaneously flip 12 feet in the air?
>>91560293
>They don't have secret identities
DC told him that he can't use the trademarked names.
>>91560336
Source?
>>91560259
Did they make a couple of sequels?
>>91560582
I don't remember. Maybe we should ask Yale.
>>91559915
Why is this pedo shit still around?
>>91559915
This comic is the worst most saccharine trash
Reminder that /co/ only dislikes yale because it reminds them that a webcomic artist handles DC characters better than Snyder does
>>91562768
It's cute :3
>>91566387
>>91559915
This part feels like it should have come in a year or two earlier.
>>91566425
Better doesn't mean good though. Too much relationshit.
>>91566689
And so fucking decompressed. Remember that eternal birthday party?
>>91566647
That's a problem with doing webcomics.
With some storylines, updating with only a page at a time can cause it to seem like it's dragging on forever.
>>91560336
Isn't this a fancomic?
It's not like he's selling it right?
>>91567399
No. However, he has DC's permission to sell JL8 art. Based Didio.
>>91560238
Gag going back to the Donner films. Lois can't spell sometimes.
"Only one P in Rappist"
>>91562719
Aww where is the kid freaking the fuck out in the foreground?
>>91567526
Yeah it's not a very good action #1
>>91559915
huh? Weren't they openly using their powers before?
I guess Lois is a new kid in town or something
>>91560238
H3LL?
>>91560238
>>91571617
Lois is 1337.
>>91559915
Isn't the bitchy female archetype run dry by now? It's like reading a story written by my grandpa.
>Purple eyes
Good attention, Yale.
>>91567399
That's not how copyright law works. Not making money off of something doesn't protect you from a C&D, it just makes the IP holder less likely to care/notice.
>>91570436
I think it's right after the party when it becomes clear Diana isn't interested that Clark's parents mention Lois just moved across the street.
>>91559915
>get saved from a gruesome death
>yell at savior, complain, grab him by the collar and insult his intelligence
Is she supposed to be unlikable bitch or is the writer just shit? Because the way I remember it, Lois did take Supes saving her for granted a lot of the time, but she never bitched him out for it.
>>91572379
>Not making money off of something doesn't protect you from a C&D,
Can't you just ignore a cease and desist?
I was under the impression it was little more than a "we don't like that" letter and held no authority.
Because I'm pretty sure fanart is covered under fair use.
>>91572379
I'm pretty sure that to take this shit to court and actually sue for damages, you have to prove either illegal profits made or damage done to the brand/bottom line.
>>91573276
It's a little more complicated than that, and if you're interested in learning more there are plenty of resources available online
How come I'm not allowed to like JL8 on /co/ anymore?
>>91560238
>>91573694
SJWs or something. I don't even know anymore.

Here's a lawyer explaining exactly how not fair use fan art is.
>>91573584
This isn't criminal law where you have to prove something beyond a reasonable doubt. All the IP owner needs to do is convince a judge that what you are making now will somehow negatively affect your profits in the future, which is really easy to do when you can just say you might make something similar yourself and don't want competition within your own properties.
>>91560293
Yeah, all those randos knew Clark by name, so Lois comes across like an idiot. Has she been too busy playing in the sewers to learn things which are common knowledge in her new home town?
>>91573766
Though actually prefer Home for Infinite Losers.
