The issue with being a monarch fighting Doubleking is, you'd constantly be on edge. There's no chance to amass power like there usually is in Quest threads--you'd be constantly on the run. It's like a quest where you're Jason Voorhees' first victim. Either you kill the monster, or it kills you. Quest over.

However, if you played as DoubleKing, you could hatch elaborate schemes to steal and appropriate crowns. It would have more long-term merit.

Also, a /quest/ thread full of posters trying to decide which king to slaughter next would better capture DoubleKing's erratic thought process. Not to mention many keks.

What would be more sporting is there can only be so many people playing at once as DK, after the slots are full everyone else are kings with X powers and resources with the ability to coordinate but only after the beginning of the game when they have to fight alone to simulate DK's spree starting and everyone wondering what is going on.
