I knew that website was full of casuals but this confirms it. Age of Ultron was fucking terrible, as not great Age of Ultron the movie was it was at least more cohesive and had better structure than the event it was "based" on.

Do you smell toast OP
>>91532350
The worst MCU movie is still better than the best Bendis event comic.
The fact that Bendis still has fans astonishes me.
>>91532350
>reading Marvel events
>reading any events at all
OHOHOHOHOHO
I'm sorry you fell for it, OP. Remember next time; events are cancer,
>>91532386
But thats not Thor 2.
This is definitely the worst thing Dorkly has done:

>>91532512
Multiversity was pretty good. Mostly self contained too.
And Forever Evil was probably my favorite part of the Nu-52, even if the Trinity War was kinda pointless.
>>91532575
Multiversity isn't at event though.
>>91532350
Did they even read comic AoU?
Because for the most part it had fuck with to do with Ultron.
>>91532590
It has everything to do with Ultron
>>91532614
nigga the actual Age of Ultron was like 4 issues, then it was just Logan and Sue.
>>91532512
>shit-talking annihilation
Unless you just mean line-wide events.
>>91532350
It was not that bad. When Wolverine traveled through time, it got really interesting.
Things happened pretty fast, but I don't think That was a flaw.
But it wouldn't appear in any ranking of the 10 best Marvel events.
>>91532546
>Kol-El
How fucking dumb are these people?
>>91532722
>When Wolverine traveled through time, it got really interesting.
THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ULTRON AT THAT POINT!
>>91532691
Trying to stop Ultron
>>91532722
Was it my imagination but did logan actually travel back in time to kill hinself so he stop himself from killing Hank pym?
>>91532350
I think we can all agree they each sucked in it's own special way
>>91532722
>It was not that bad.
10 issues.
5 are spent with Hitch basically drawing nothing but "debris porn".
1 is a meaningless Battle scene.
2 more issues are a poorly developed AU inside another AU.
1 issue is Wolverin playing a Simpsons gag "I come from even further into the future!"
And at the end the plot is solved in 10 pages, most of which are a reprint of the free comicbook day prologue, while the rest of the issue is a "Coming soon in the Marvel Universe" reel.
IT. WAS. SHIT.
>>91532880
No
He traveled back in time to talk himself out of killing Hank and then later on has his past self kill him
>>91532350
>Age of Ultron
>great comic book storyline
>>91532815
yes, but no Ultron. With an event titled Age of Utron I expected the fucking age of Ultron. That's like Blackest Night except we never see the Black Lantern Corps for more than the first 4 issues and the rest of the event was Jason, Kyle, and Donna looking for a magical mcguffin to fix everything away from the Black Lantern Corps.
>>91532905
You pretty much described Secret Wars and Civil Wars II while we are at it, just move some things around like "Debris Porn" with "TV feed about Skrulls" or something.
Bendis events feel the same.
>>91533023
It was the age of Ultron, and how to stop it.
>>91533034
Secret War was Hickman, not Bendis.
But you're right about AoU and CW2 using the end of their events to advertise future storylines.
>>91533067
that doesn't negate how Ultron is barely fucking featured.
>>91533338
And Sauron is barley in the lord of the ring books, despite being the lord of the rings.
>>91533532
yeah but his presence is known and we still see the One Ring. Either way Logan and Sue had none of the chemistry or bonding the Fellowship had.
>>91533593
Like his Ultrons presence is known and we see how his actions has effected Logan and Sue .
>>91532350
>Age of Ultron
>Great Comic Book Storyline
What a moron.
>>91532350
I can't even finish this movie as well as civil war
After rewatching it these movies are as dark as the DC ones actually
Gotg, antman are the only kiddie ones
>>91533120
Secret war was by Bendis, but he was talking about Secret Wars (2016) by Hickman
I think we can all agree AoU was shit as an event. We all know that Shadowland is the best marvel event.
>>91533832
That's also what I was talking about, but I didn't catch the typo.
I didn't even know there WAS a "Secret War" by Bendis.
>>91533832
>>91533866
I think you people are forgetting that Secret invasion was called secret invasion and not secret wars
>>91533850
>We all know that Shadowland is the best marvel event.
PFFFTTT HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
