Except they are completely wrong. There is a reason why Robotnik says "I hate that Hedgehog" instead of "I hate those Freedom Fighters". Sonic been carrying the entire group since day 1 and been the lead cause of why Robotnik hasn't taken over the world yet. When Sonic was out of the picture for a year Robotnik did exactly that and recaptured everything except their HQ.
