>Are you kidding me?
He straight up sounded like Hermes here. Way to not sound like a Jamacian there.

Great, can't unhear it now. thanks buddy!
>>91517025
Oh wow, he actually did.
Jack and Hermes do sound similar so Lamarr slipped into that voice by accident.

I think he can only do the Jack voice when talking slowly in short segments. Season 5 has Jack talking more than he ever did, and often with excitement or angst. Emotion's he's never had to do before.

>"Back to the past!"
>"Hermes Conrad!"

Agreed. They gave him way to much dialogue in this episode.
Not only did it hurt LaMarr's ability to act out a Japanese voice but was also very out of character for Jack.

Jack was dedicated before. But now he's starting to have doubts. That's voiced by his inner blue guy. So now he's talking more than before.
Jamaican? I thought he was some kind of outer space potato man.

Except the entire point is that Jack isn't the same as he was in the first for seasons. It's not that it's out of character, but that the character evolved due to 50 years of constant fighting and emotional isolation.
I cant unhear

Which confuses me, don't VAs do multiple takes and use the best ones?
>>91517867
Episode 4 was the most similar to his old self he's been all season. He's always been a cheeky fucker.
>>91517025
as a natural born Jamaican i can say with all certainty neither jack or Hermes are jamaican accents. more bajan. which is funny because barbados slim has a closer jamaican accent
This faggot comes up and slaps your husbando's ass then calls him a hack.
What do you do about it?
>MY MANWICH!
>>91518764
I still don't get why the changed how his face looks.
It seems like such an unnecessary alteration.
