I bought Aphra's first appearance when people were hyping it up so I figured I'd get it to get some easy money from a dumb normie down the line in the future. How well received is Aphra's character in the fanbase?

She's on my pull list and it usually sells pretty well at my lcs.

She's proving to be interesting. Beyond the ties to Vader which have more or less bern completely severed now, she's basically a the link to the history of the time before the Galactic Republic, as well as the Old Republic in that she's basically Indiana Jones.

So it seems that in the aftermath of the fall of the Old Republic, the Jedi underwent a few schisms. The Ordu Aspectu was one of these, but seeing as the Jedi were still the relatively dominant power in the galaxy, the Ordu Aspectu still technically answered to them.

Rur essentially tried to make his own personal holocron but actually ended up transferring his sentience into the computer, leaving behind what appears to have been his Dark Side in his body.

I think it was more of a Prestige kind of thing where he straight up copied his consciousness and the one in the computer believed itself to be the original, while the real Rur tried to destroy the fucked up computer version.

Probably.

And that's it. Keep an eye out for the Screaming Citadel coming up!

Chelli a cute
Thanks for the storytime.
>>91484287
I like the new designs there, I wonder if she'll keep that jacket.
>>91484319
Very excited for this!
Also, >>91484258 that Twi'lek doesn't exactly look, uhhh... Space legal.
Thanks for the storytime m8
>>91484202
That's such an awesome idea i don't care it's lifted from Indiana Jones
>>91484979
Her entire character is a sexy, edgy Indy tribute anyways, so it's all good
>>91484853
everything is space legal, it's like international waters
>>91485000
Thanks for the storytime m99
>>91483900
She's kind of adorable in that first panel
>>91484119
>liking not even MILF older Imperials
I agree with her father, get some taste Aphra.
>>91484258
Leather space biker look is good on her.
>>91483980
Oh hey, someone remembered the shuttle has a gun turret on the back. Based on the fact no other crew members are shown (dead or alive), I guess that thing is remote controlled from the cockpit.
Thanks for the storytime, anon.
It's one of the few comics I'm actively waiting for these days.
Still not sure If I'm down with Walker's art for this, it felt better for Avenger Arena / Undercover but this is still pretty good and good designs.
>>91486544
And Aphra has good taste.
>>91483738
you're misreading it. rur was around BEFORE the Republic was founded.
>>91483875
aphra a cute
>>91484030
>fascists
wtf this threw me off
>>91489450
yeah, felt off-balance is Aphra was actually pro-Empire in the Darth Vader run.
Guess you can't have a main heroine rooting for the Empire, sucks. But doesn't change the overall quality of the issue
>>91488402
There's definitely such things as attractive, thin middle aged women. This officer is really offputting more than attractive.
>>91489548
I thought she was Pro-Vader, but thinks the Empire could be better in a lot of ways?
>>91489548
you know a lot of fascists are actually ok with being called fascists esp if they are the government
also you have to be a retard to think aphra was ever pro-anything
WOW that was shitty.
>>91490884I liked it
>>91490884
Why? I thought it was a pretty comfy and interesting adventure.
