I love Hewlett, but Gorillaz are overrated garbage. I just ordered 21st Century Tank Girl and I'm hoping it's as good as the old ones.

Well its the art that makes band as much as the music does. I guess plastic beach can be an example seeing as he got shafted by damon when he decided to make the album focus almost exclusively on pollution and the live band while he deviated from the carnival aesthetic jamie had planned

I dream of the day that Hewlett starts working on a a comic again, preferably at Image

I was lucky enough to see the Tank Girl movie before I'd even heard of the comic books. That allowed me to enjoy them as separate entities.

I'm worried for the Gorillaz series because of how Tank Girl and the Phoo Action pilot got away from Jamie. I really want it to be good.

Anybody has more high quality phase 1 art? It's my favourite era of gorillaz art-wise, love that fashion, colors and thick outlines but It's hard to find in non low res
