We already got that. We already know what life is like for Jack, that's largely what the entire first series was about: Jack wanders, Jack saves the endangered and oppressed where he finds them, and Jack looks for a way back to the past. The whole thrust of the Season 5 premiere is that this has been his completely unchanging life for the last 50 years. It can't go on. It has to end.

It would have been easy for Genndy to go the easy route and make Season 5 more of the same, but I'm glad he's doing something different. It's the only way to give Samurai Jack the ending it actually deserves.

You faggots are insufferable. The story structure has never focused on Ashi. Until the last five seconds of the last episode, her character has existed solely to service the development of the world and the protagonist. She is given no character traits, no personal motivation, no apparent agency at any point in the story until that last five seconds.

When we see her in childhood, we aren't learning about her. We're learning about the world she lives in. When Jack chooses to spare her, we aren't seeing her make a choice or grow. Jack is doing those things. Any change she goes through in the future is necessarily a response to the actions of our protagonist and the changes he has wrought on her world. Ashi is purely a vehicle for showing how Jack has impacted the world he lives in.

Ashi could be replaced by a robot with seventeen dicks made in the deep dark Aku cult dick robot factories, and the story structure would be unchanged. Y'all wouldn't say anything neither, 'cause we all know you fuccbois just hate girls.
