All this infighting has become stale. Rally the heroes around the protection of the planet, have them fight alongside each other for a common goal despite their differences.

There's a reason the MCU made Civil War a one movie character movie and used The Infinity Gauntlet as the two part big finale.

Cosmic event won't be good if they don't get the right writer for it.

Look at anything Cosmic that Bendis has written especially his Celestial threat in CWII and his upcoming Thanos invading Earth shit in his last GotG comic it feels so lackluster.

Or Humphries' forgettable Black Vortex

Same with Spencer, his Hydra Cap event is fine but the Chitauri invasion part of it really lacks the threatening feel that he built for HydraCap.

Not every writer can write larger than life Cosmic threats.

DC and Marvel and their "stories" don't have endings, there's nothing the story is making its way to, no build-up; they're just used to print money; they lack substance and actual worth. I never said Bendis had to write it, and fuck Thanos, but I agree a good writer is always needed for events that large.

Marvel needs new threats against Earth, its that simple. They found a way to make Secret Wars, a universe-shattering event, about in-fighting.

Literally create personified evil and have it fight the Marvel heroes. It'll sell. People want to see all the heroes on one side of the splash page for once.
