Princeless Issue #1
I am intrigued
End of first issue.
Seems interesting enough, and the comic has an actual plotpoint instead of "I'M A WOMAN BREAKING THE KNIGHT SAVES PRINCESS CLICHE LOOK AT ME".
I like it.

Comblr blind as ever I see
Come on. Out of all the comics out there, Princeless is hardly the worst of them.
It's a fucking kids book. We're not even the primary demographic.

It's still pretty bad. Especially if the protagonist is unlikable.

I'm trying to imagine the type of kid who would read this. There's nothing really interesting about it and all the characters seem pretty angry and awful.

Fair also means beautiful you dumb cunt.
Anyone else kinda want to bangthe dragon
I think it's dumb and not very good, but is it really storytime of pain level? Or could it be that our standards post America feel so much higher now.
I think it hasn't earned it's spot yet, but might in the future.

I'm actually curious, has that ever happened in actual fantasy stories? Kings putting their daughters in towers?
It's usually the princess getting kidnapped by a dragon or some evil wizard or black knight or something like that
>>91394924
The trope is that suitors must pass a test of something to prove their worth. It's uncommon to do it this way but not unheard of.

Any examples in the media or real life?

The first thing I can think of for a trial for suitors is the Odyssey.
Eh, it's kinda cute. Would read, even with preachy underpinnings.
I read a better take on this where the princess found a bunch of tomes locked away in the basement and learned how to be a fuck-you tier wizard instead, but then it wasn't aimed at kids.

>vows to reunite her poor dragon with her family
>the same dragon that killed and ate a bunch of dudes that also probably had families
