So in the most recent episode, Morty and Summer went to the cronenberged world, and the feral Summer/Jerry/Beth want to kill her because she 'smells of Rick'. I don't really get the implication considering that the last time we saw the feral family, they didn't know Rick/Morty were responsible for what happened and Beth and Jerry agreed that they both didn't really care, so why do they suddenly hate him in the new ep? If they figured out that Rick caused it, why wouldn't they be just as mad at Morty for not trying to save them too?

They're happy because they've all got a united purpose rather than being divided by their illusions of grandeur or their existential boredom.

They realize that Rick is the one who has put their lives into peril but they find fulfillment in the PARTICULAR situation they're in now (being survivalists). They didn't forgive Rick but, in making the best of their current situation, find happiness.

I interpreted it as them realizing how destructive Rick is in general, and treating him as a cosmic (almost religious) evil rather than it being their personal grudge against him.

She might be less direct about it but Summer has the most in common with Rick in terms of personality and morality out of anyone in the family.
