It seems the majority of Ellis delays are due to the artist(Karnak,Fell, maybe Planetery). I know he's had issues in the past but non-stop blaming him is silly.

In general if a comic gets delayed or put on hiatus, it's because of the artist. It's easily the longest part of the process.
