Just finished up watching S2, so how about a thread?
Interesting how they seemed to try to mix things up a bit. There was a lot more trickery in S2 than in S1, which at least showed a bit more thought than just trying "attack with a big monster" after failing fifty times previously. It did keep things a bit different, although it also meant that the main cast had to hold the idiot ball a few times and not question it too much even after the 4th time.
I can see why people preferred Carissa over Lyna in S2. Lyna had, perhaps, one episode devoted to her, while Carissa had three. I'm still liking the original cast of three more than the two newer girls, though. I can appreciate not wanting to force everyone into every situation, so can understand why Carissa and Lyna were only used occasionally, but it was easy enough to forget they were even there at times.
S2E24 makes the season conclusion all the more tragic.
So what did you think of the season, and the show overall?

I guess /co/ didn't want to discuss it today.
Okay then, fuck it. Whoever finds this in the archive can have this bit of content, as well.

And looks like that's it for today.

Lyna's issue is that her character doesn't really have a defined place in the group dynamic.
Iris is the sweet everygirl, Talia's the proper, smart one, Aurianna is the funny, girly ditz, Carrissa is the tomboy and Lyna falls somewhere between Talia and Auri.
Very proper and girly and acts well as a foil to Carissa but not with the rest of the girls.
If there's a continuation of any sort maybe they could push her highbrow 'lady' traits. Make her a bit of a socialite and down that sort of path.

Oh, I'm pretty sure they confirmed there will be a S3. I would certainly be disappointed if it just wrapped up with what we've seen.
I guess you have a point, sort of. I'm not really seeing Carissa's tomboyishness come out all that frequently. Mostly, it is her bullheadedness which seems to get the most attention; Carissa charging in and not really thinking things through. It was kind of a nice change to see the main trio not have a dedicated idiot ball holder, and I guess Carissa does fill that niche. Although that makes me wonder how S3 is supposed to handle her, in that case.
Lyna is sort of an even more dismissive Talia, just with Auriana's attitude towards boys. I could certainly see some episodes revolving around that aspect, although I think they really dropped the ball by not comparing her directly to Praxina's attitude in S2.Not that easy to do now.I think that the biggest problem is they didn't involve Carissa and Lyna enough. Sure, I appreciate them keeping the number of characters down and still focusing on the main trio, but the episodes where it was three characters and one of those two worked out well enough. Plus, Lyna needs to get some screentime interacting past just levitating Carissa and boy-gossip with Auri.

They confirmed Season 3? When?
>>91354695
I thought that it was, back when they were getting ready to release S2.
I might've misremembered between that, Ladybug, and some other shows, though. I'll see if I can find more concrete evidence about a Lolirock S3.
I guess I was a bit wrong on the information.

It looks like nothing is confirmed. Hopeful, of course, but nothing funded and certainly nothing confirmed. Ah well, let's hope.
Here's a little something for you, though, picked up from browsing their tumblr.
How is this show currently doing in Europe?
