Why is it the Silver Age is the best age of comics?
>>91344784
I wonder too anon.
lets hope some silver age fag clarifies that for us
Bronze Age is best Age
Because you're old and/or nostalgic.
>>91344956
Bronze Age is just Silver Age artstyle with Modern Age "Dark" storylines

I know Gold, Silver and Bronze ages, but what comes after those?
>>91345544
Shitty dark age>>91344956
>>91344956
Definitely this.
>>91345544
Dark age or modern age is the next label and then no one has really named anything after that. Should probably draw a line around the early 00s though.

That wasn't Dark Age, that was just a glimpse of what was to come.
Dark Age (or Iron Age if you want to be charitable) started when Liefeld got a hold of New Mutants.

How can you have an age after the Modern Age?
>>91345544
>80s Dark Age/British Invasion/Age of Graphic Novels;
>90s Image EXTREEEME Age;
>2000s Ultimate Marvel/Wildstorm Darker Age;
>2010s Tumblr PC Age;

I'd call the 00s-now the EVENT AGE
I mean how many events have we had since the 00s?
Annihilation, Infinite Crisis, 52, War of the Kings, Civil War, Final Crisis, Secret Invasion, Blackest Night, Brightest Day, Thanos Imperative, Flashpoint, Forever Evil, Civil War II, Secret Wars, Convergence, Etc
>>91345614
It started when they kept renumbering stuff and making limited edition holographic variants that "You better get this cause it's worth money down the line"
And like most fads, it's not the most well known maker (Liefeld) that makes it crap. It is the copycats who saturate the market trying to ride the coattails while thinking they're gonna be "the next big thing".
>>91344784
No superhero comics peaked in the 80's.
>>91345747
That was pretty much a byproduct of 80s/90s trends.
>>91345544
>GOLD-SILVER-BRONZE-DARK
The Dark Age ,who is basically all of 90s EXTREME and includes the market crash, ends in the early 00s. After that there is no official name, I guess we could go with COPPER to make it fit with the rest
>>91345001
yes and that's what makes it my favorite
>>91345854
Maybe digital age?
I mean they do sell comics digitally now and I'd assume that CBR scans weren't a thing till beyond the 90s.
