How would Aku fare in the Avatar-verse if he tried to invade

I'd say that Aang or Korra using spirit-bending might hurt Aku, but his definitive weakness is human righteousness and being an enlightened being like an Avatar doesn't negate the possibility of that person being a proper prick.

Aku isn't a spirit though. He's a tendril of a dead cosmic evil come to life. The avatar state might be able to slow him down like that spirit fire was able to do but if aku wanted he'd decimate the avatar world.

Remember that time aku couldn't deal with some generic elemental beings guarding some power crystal or another?

I'd like to think the collective armies of element wielders headed by the biggest baddest elemental powerhouse would put up a fight. Aku would probably just use evil trickery to get the upper hand though.
