Nah, but it's definitely underrated. For an Earth-based Star-Lord comic it's surprisingly fun. And now that it's confirmed the book is continuing back to space I'm interested to see where it goes. Zdarsky lays the humor on pretty thick but he brings out the character stuff too. I liked the moment in issue 3 where Quill owned up to being a Cosmic drifter, wandering from place to place with good intentions but always wrecking things and then just kinda moving on. That's appropriate character development harkening back to the classic stuff. Some people around here might balk at the idea of classic Star-Lord plots starring a lighter, less melodramatic version of Quill, but I don't mind if it's written well. So finger's crossed.

Gwenpol, Nova, Doctor Strange and the Sorcerer Supremes and Kingpin are good

I don't care about Star-Lord doing poorly, and Marvel was probably hoping it'd be able to coast on the movie's popularity years after it came out.
I have mixed feelings about Nova, but it's dying because Marvel didn't do shit to make people aware it existed. The biggest reason people would be interested in it is Rich coming back, and Marvel was dumb enough to downplay that
