This isn't true. Skipping grades does happen but it's basically just one year that they do it. Usually accidentally if they move and studied curriculum differently. Doesn't do anyone any good to have a kid getting 100s because they already learned it.

But kid geniuses do go to college in real life and it's not really considered skipping in the same sense. That's probably what this kid should actually be doing and not going to school with normal children. She can still join Girl Scouts or something if it's about socialization. But I don't read the book so maybe it was explained.

Just started read this. This is one of the best books marvel has put out in a while. The themes are great and no social justice bullcrap just qt protagonist and adorable dinosaur.

Well, part of the reason for that is that comics are mostly aimed at adults now and kids get shat out cartoon tie-in trash.

Oh and the subject matter on American comics is just a little too mature. The dialog at best is for teens. When I was a little kid I just liked Dragonball, Ranma 1/2, Sunday funny papers. Easy to digest what was going on. A lot of visual humor. American comics are so full of dialog it might as well be a novel.
