Remember to keep consistency and proportions in mind!! Like on the left, her face shape constantly change with each expression. It might be beneficial to make a model sheet for yourself, even if you won't put it in your portfolio.

Also, don't forget to flip your canvas horizontally while you work...her body is lopsided.

And if this is for a portfolio, I think it would be more interesting to show character acting on the page instead of 'here is her leg and arm'. Without you telling me she can use hardlight projectors in your post, I wouldn't been able to tell she was a human helicopter by looking at the sheet. I want to see her fly!!!

Otherwise than that, I think it's neat design, I have a soft spot for robots and I do like the faceplate a lot.

Don't usually post in these threads due to forgetting they exist/being inconsistent about making stuff but here's an animation I finished semi recently. Mostly just a test for the character's movement, though still kind of dissatisfied with a lot of areas.

One day I'll actually clean my animations. Stuff like >>91285850 makes me realize how far I still have to go. Don't have the imagination or confidence to try something with that many changing angles. Also your style is quite loose and pleasant to me.

Can I please get a drawfag to draw Gallius Rax but in a white grand admiral uniform and red cape like he canonically wears? I don't even care if you trace this picture directly and then draw on the uniform/cape (I would actually prefer it since I see Rax as this picture minus the outfit).

Also in case you're wondering I don't think he wears pauldrons so the best bet would be to base his outfit off Director Krennic's outfit from Rogue One plus a Grand Admiral's medals on his chest and make the cape red.

the original idea from here is that yugi season 0 just works really well as a batman villain. He definitely crosses over with riddler a bit, but the emphasis on games gives him his own thing. He can win any game, and then he kills you when you lose. Throw in the whole possesed by a pharoah thing. and its just perfect. All I did was change his crazy hair to a mask.

Yeah, my digital work is pretty far separated from my pencil-on-paper stuff. Nowadays, that's mostly just in my class notes, and I'm tired of all these sketches ending up on lined paper.

That first drawing was one that I did during class, then when over digitally. I was to start working on translating my traditional style to digital better.

I've been dicking around with a new sketchy brush lately, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. It's made sketching a lot more fun, as before when I was using a simple round brush, nothing looked very interesting. But this brush, I dunno what it is. I can just sketch effortlessly with it, whereas with a round brush I struggled the whole way.

Anywho, this is just a little doodle a personification of the universe as a little girl I made recently. Not exactly an original concept or design, but I like her. She's holding the Milky Way!

I'm working on a animated short, everything is almost done except for the voices. The thing is, I suck at voice acting, and getting a voice actor is not a option. I was thinking about a combination of subtitles and weird voices/sounds, maybe something like Okami (but less annoying).

I need some reference. How many cartoons are like that? Weird sounds/"voices" and maybe subtitles?

I went ahead and just rolled with what I had here because I was incapable of just leaving it alone. Did a little lighting management along with changing the hands. I appreciate the feedback whipping me into wanting to fiddle with it in the first place, because I'm much happier with this now.

I'm more of a writer, but I've been doodling a lot of horns recently. Small, long, curved, straight. Easy and fun. Also some abstract shapes and whatnot, so that's been interesting trying to figure out what I'm making.

This is a short canadian animation. No dialog, but stuff that sounds like it, as well as nothing but a lot of silly noises.

Clangers was an old british stop motion thing my dad watched as a kid, characters talked via slide whistle while a kindly narrator explained what was going on for the kiddies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCcD0aqUgCo But its definitely like a little kids thing.

Couple more things that come to mind, not a cartoon but Don't Starve, the various characters are "voiced" by melodica/accordion.

Gestal, the bear lady, is searching for her adoptive father, who raised her to be a survivalist but then abandoned her the day she became an adult. Spent years waiting for him to come back due to fearing people.

Jacks is a thief she befriended after beating her in a fight. Agreed to help out on her way back home provided Gestal keeps her fed. Was on a mission in Gestal's town to kill a local crime boss but failed and is reluctantly going home to inform her own father figure of said failure.
