I'll start.

This show seemed like a distant memory. It was there and just gone one day. So weird. The same can be said for that Sitting Ducks show.
gotta promote what seems like the most obscure cartoon ever made desu senpai
Say what you about the show's quality, it had the best series finale in CN history.

It's weird that when this first aired I assumed all the characters were college aged or adults, but watching it now it seems more like they were preteens or high schoolers at most
>>91281339
Sheep was a great show but most kids don't appreciate dry humor.

>>91284618
I dunno about dry, I think surreal is a better way to describe sheep in the big city
>>91284715
Themesong was fucking catchy.
I see it brought up very rarely on /co/ and pretty much never anywhere else. Hamill as Larry 3K was probably the best thing about the show, but it got a fair amount of chuckles out of me.

I have a suspicion that Sheep in the Big City was the victim of a tax write-off like Megas XLR and Sym-Bionic Titan. It's the only Cartoon Cartoon that has never been rerun on Boomerang or Cartoon Planet.

>According to Nancy Avery (daughter of the legendary cartoonist), she only approved the show to get her kids into college. Initially the cartoon's producers offered her a pretty derisory sum, pointing out that they technically didn't need her permission to make the show and that they'd do it whether she endorsed it or not.
>As a result, Nancy asked Chuck Jones for his advice on the matter; he told her that under the circumstances Tex would want his family to be financially secure more than anything else, and helped her negotiate a much more reasonable settlement.
On top of that, not even the crew behind the show liked working on it, and most have left it off their resumes.

For a second I was surprised, but then I remembered how "Hunger Games" was written on a 3rd grade reading level and then the world made sense again. I frickin' hated Molly O. >>91295840
Semi-revelant:
>A classic Hollywood story involves (((Gene Simmons))) of Kiss. In the late ’90s, as co-owner of the Fox Family Channel, Saban was developing shows for children. Simmons, the fire-breathing, blood-spitting frontman of a rock band in costumes and face paint, pitched Saban an idea for a new Saturday-morning cartoon: Kiss meets X-Men, the Marvel comics superhero team. Saban liked the concept well enough to convene a meeting with Avi Arad, then C.E.O. of Marvel’s toy division.
>At the appointed time, Saban, Arad, and Simmons sat down. The meeting was going well, and the three began to haggle over numbers. Then Saban turned to Arad and, referring to Simmons, confided in Hebrew, “Now we gut him like a fish.” Without missing a beat, Simmons—who, unbeknownst to Saban, was born Chaim Witz in Haifa, Israel—replied in Hebrew, “You ass hole. I’m one of you.”

This show was ridiculously huge in Europe and yet all but 10 or so episodes are lost. Of course, all the foreign are very well preserved, but the original English version isn't. I'm convinced this is purely from neglect, since as late as 5 years ago I could torrent all the episodes in English, but decided not to, because ''why would I, when I could easily watch it online.'' The regret is real.
they never ended this story
Back when pranking took skill and was, you know, actually pranking rather than harassment and ''social experiments''.
Also are the original flashes, this was based on still a thing or are they lost media? I can't seem to find anything, which is worrying in a way, since a disturbing amount of old flash cartoons and games are becoming lost with every passing day.

>In 2009, Quebec Superior Court Justice Claude Auclair, in a 240-page decision, awarded Claude Robinson $5.2 million in damages. In the 1990s, Cinar, later renamed Cookie Jar Entertainment, copied the work Robinson had previously unsuccessfully presented to them in the 1980s. The company appealed the decision.
>As of December 23, 2013, the Supreme Court of Canada, in a unanimous decision, affirmed the judgment in favor of Robinson. In the final judgement, Cinar Corp. will have to reimburse part of the fees incurred by Robinson and this also includes 4 million Canadian dollars in damages. This judgement ended an 18-year battle between Claude Robinson and the Cinar Corp.[2][3]

Now look at how heavily people ship Ben 10 and Gwen, or how people complain about details extrapolated to insane degrees, or talk about their self-made fanfiction. G.o.a.t theme song

I still prefer the Robert Taylor episodes over the Capizzi ones.
>>91308371
Lucky? He was no Cosgrove. For starters he had a family and got beat up a lot.
>>91305866
It did? I just remember it debuting on UPN next to Home Movies.
>>91301231
Best SNES game.

There's a time when the moon....

So, was this done to clean up Mr. Magoo's racist association with Asians in the past? For that matter, does a version of Ragtime Bear with unmmuted dialogue exist?
>>91301231
There's a rumor going around of a movie in pre production....
>>91306605
This shit used to air on Nickelodeon for a spell. I remember when Nick used to air syndicated shit until they went full original.
>>91313750
>So, was this done to clean up Mr. Magoo's racist association with Asians in the past?
Hardly, just an attempt to squeeze out shekels from a dying brand.
Hell, Mr. Magoo's not even the main character for most of the movie, just his skinny-ass nephew.
>>91313456
underrated
>>91308944
A baby that goes to space and sometimes places on Earth to save the day but not after wackiness ensues and bad 4th wall breaking jokes were made.
The kid that plays the baby is hardly the reason to watch. His partners played by Bart Simpson and Jecht carry the show.

The problem is that they all look like one-off background characters in Samurai Jack, the ones that are meant to convey an idea or environment/atmosphere in a snap but not be focused on too much. If every character in SJ including the main cast looked that ugly DESPITE being the main focus all the time then I doubt /co/ would give it the same praise.
It aired anywhere when a hole needed to be filled.

I wanted to forget.
Just like I wanted to forget Ned's Newt.
>>91312041I remember suffering a trauma just because this show went off the air
>>91313948
>Just like I wanted to forget Ned's Newt.
But anon, that's where the fun is at.:^)
this is one of those mid-to-late 2000's shows that no one remembers in detail, boring as fuck and derivative
I only remember it because Richard Horvitz voiced the squirrel
Was it any good?

HB doing adaptations of French cartoons doesn't quite shock me after I found out the Smurfs were originally a Belgian production way back.
I can't remember the name, but there was this show on CN about nudist animals at some kind of hotel, and they'd walk around in fucking underwear the whole episode
either that or it was a fever dream I had
>>91302404
I really love the fucking opening.
>>91314163
Almost Naked Animals, from the creator of Fish Hooks and Pickle and Peanut.
It wasn't good.
>>91314090
Stunt Dawgs was too silly not to like, plus it's hard to hate stuff with Lenore Zann involved.
If you want a show to feel mixed about, try the Adventures of T-Rex.
>>91314291
Just Google stunt dawgs sizzle, she started so many fetishes
I have this on video, why I'll never know.
>>91306043
they all are the same shit
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Centery
Street Sharks
Eek the Cat
Bonkers
Bobby's World
The creator of "Robotboy" had a bunch of other shows under his belt.
>>91312057
I loved MOST of his movies.
>>91314036
They played a marathon on Cartoon Network one time.
Japan sure loved their "cute critters go through hell" genre.

Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century
Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century (x3)
and it just goes on like that for another 3 minutes.
Good thread everybody. Give yourselves a round of applause.
>>91314444
I actually heard of Gawayn and I'm a burger.
>>91314646
I does just that.
>>91314646
Didn't even know that shit was originally a Bravestarr episodeuntil I saw it on Qubo in 2012
>>91314555

>>91314957
Pretty much yeah.
>>91309476

>>91315091
No, American.

>>91306922
>mean spirited
Catdog absolutely is.
Angry Beavers isn't though. It's like a better version of Regular Show.
>>91281339
Sheep in the Big City wasGOAT
>>91315457
Regular Show had moments that were meant to be creepy or disturbing. Angry Beavers played things up for laughs in some fashion.
The show was great for being a palate cleanser.
>>91312186
I bet this shit was popular on germany
>>91313914
I remember that from The Great Space Coaster.
>>91311464

>>91316312

You'll have to wait another two or three days for another "cartoons forgotten by time" thread
>>91295026
Yeah, you collected the parts that came with the other toys to build cubix. I actually managed to get them all
