It's not the spear that stabbed Jesus. The story behind it is that the emperor Constantine's mother went to Isreal and supposedly found the cross JC was crucified on and the nails from the cross were taken back as a holy relic. When the German bar bars converted they revered Jesus as a war leader, basically stepping in to the place of Thor and depicted him wielding a spear. Later some German got a hold of the nails and put them into a spear in some ancient version of socketing a gem and various leaders have used it either because they believed it was powerful as a single weapon, or for the morale buff to the army/nation.

On a side note when someone was crucified it took days for them die and the agony would cause them to beg for someone to kill them and put them out of their misery. Many people miss that the centurion was doing a mercy kill.

The Master Sword is at least a full tier less powerful than Jack's sword. Jack's sword never loses its power to vanquish evil, and it's indestructible. The Master Sword has rusted, lost its evil-vanquishing power, and even changed forms as a result. It's imbued with holy power, but not nearly as much as Jack's.

There are no actual holy weapons in 40K. 'Divinity' and divine shit in the setting is just flashy psychic phenomena.
