Terra working for Slade wasn't the issue in the comics. The issue was that Wolfman kept trying to push 'Slade did nothing wrong' in later stories even as Slade continued to do everything wrong.

Terra is a weird character, she was intended to be unsympathetic because Wolfman hated Kitty but writers tend to write her as more sympathetic recently.

So this was pretty amazing. This story is confirmed gold and the Teen Titans are demonstrably the best DC team.

I guess Wolfman wanted to make Slade sympathetic or have him have a good heart despite being a killer which is why he made Terra manipulate him but that shit doesn't work, especially if you have him be a pedo.

So I would say it was better then JL Vs. TT. But I will say oddly enough Tera was the worst part about it. She was a dick head from start to finish and we got like the bare minimum of her story also she just offed herself for no fucking reason at the end. Slade was better and not a fucking jobber like in Son of Batman, although he had a lot of snarp to him this time. Animation wise it was decent, but at times you could tell that they spent more money on it at times as for a few scenes the animation jumps in quality and then goes back to being average a scene later. Overall I would say it's pretty strong for a their New 52 animated universe series.

Well it all started with Flashpoint Paradox (which was good) that ended with New 52 taking over. Then DC got jelly of Marvel and their MCU that they wanted to take a "lite" crack at it with their animated movies with JL: War being the first. Going by how these movies have been hit and absolute mess at times, idk if it's quite working out.
