It's when a network writes off a show for a tax break, often because thy don't perform well. Cartoon Network did it to Megas, IGPX (which got repealed), Sym-Bionic Titan, and Beware the Batman.
No idea if the other animation networks did this.

Great show but the merchandise is rare and hard to find. Very expensive. I wish CN would make more but they can't because tax writeoff. The creators even said on Toonami Faithful that CN can't even make a MEGAS keychain because of this. CN needs to stop writing off shows. Do they not want money?

The Toonami tumblr literally announced it when IGPX came back, and said on that post that Megas is a different can of worms so the loophole they used to get it can be used on Megas.

A tax write-off is no reason to give up on Megas.
It just requires more money, that's all.

If it's popular enough it WILL be brought back. We need to show Time Warner (not sure if CN or AS) that it is, simple as that.
