Why the hell did the song 'Fixer Upper' pass the final cut?

Not only is the song itself bad, it comes at a totally inappropriate point in the movie where Anna is in the middle of getting frozen to death, and is also about trying to get Anna to hook up with Kristoff even though she's engaged (to an asshole, but we don't know that yet). And it involves the trolls, which are the worst characters in the entire movie.

That song sucks on every level.

I actually think it is just the fatigue of not being able to go 24 hours without encountering Frozen themed something. The insane amounts of merch for this movie this many years after it came and went is still staggering every time you go nearly anywhere.

Grocery store, gas station, Home Depot, it does not matter, you will see Frozen themed things for sale and themed shit that you never thought would need to be themed with cartoon characters in the first place. All of that builds up after a while until you just start hating the characters and titles just a little bit more each and every time you see it.

And the movies that came after this are nearly forgotten. But there are still Frozen themed lamps, cereal, shoes, potatoes, balloons, coffee, soft drinks, cell phone chargers, flash lights, ceiling fans......

I don't care if I sound whiny. The way they handled Hans in act 3 was poor and was very left field. They didn't want Anna to look like a cheap slut getting interested in two males.

Honestly they should have been frank with the ordeal and have Hans kiss Anna but it doesn't work because they both realize it's not true love but just friends. Hans can still attack Elsa in the belief this may stop the winter and save Anna.

It's because Frozen is an insane merchandising juggernaut. It grosed $1,27 bn worldwide but it's probably sold around $7 bn worth of merch by now, which is extremely respectable for a franchise with one movie released 3-ish years ago, one 7-min short and a weird Lego special thingy.
Disney kinda expected the movie to tank, or do about as well as Moana - PatF or such. They keep releasing merch because people keep buying it.
