Welp. Sarah has now officially gone full cuck. She sits among the greats like Lin Bei Fong and Star Butterfly
>>
>>91236557
And when Jacob hears this was all some elaborate plan he will want nothing to do with any of them... but since this is Willis, Jacob will be thankful for being shown that Raidah is a bad girlfriend, and Sarah is a better alternative.
>>
>>91235374
to be fair, there's a LOT on slipshine other than willis shit. I subbed for several months a while back when I was the porn bro, posting the shit here.

I kinda miss it, there was a bunch of comics I read for the story
>>
>>91236557
Oh my god, it actually feels like things are happening here.
This must be what reading a competent webcomic feels like.
>>
>>91236557
>I know what I am
Don't self-bully, Sarah. Just find another hot guy who's into harsh misanthropes, like Joe.

I hope this doesn't go anywhere, it's pretty silly.
>>
>>91236900
i could see jacob forgiving joyce for her part in this because she clearly has no idea what shes doing

and as for the second half of that, well, its sarah. when has anything ever gone well for her in this comic? shes like the only major character willis DOESNT hand things to on a silver platter.
shes not getting jacob.

Willis hasn't really gone into how Jacob and Raidah got together, or why they're together after such a messy early-relationship.

I mean, the only "chemistry" we've seen them have is the strip in the elevator where Raidah kinda acts like a cunt, and it's implied at Galasso's that she doesn't just want him for sexytimes (which is a big deal for Jacob apparently).

It's Willis, so I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop in regards to Jacob and Sarah.
>>
>>91237339
*in regards to Jacob and Raidah
>>
I swear to god if Joyce doesn't get into some actual relationship shit at SOME point I am going to post angrily on the internet
>>
>>91237339
i could see him dumping raidah eventually after he hears the full story of her history with sarah, but hes shown pretty clearly hes not gonna put up with sarahs misanthropic garbage so if they do get together she'll have to actually go through some legitimate character development first

so, never gonna happen. im betting on "sort of friends but with no interest/chance of going further" as their end state

I like that the only way Willis knows how to write his two only main cast black women is to have them act rachet, hate each other, and fight over a man.

Someone bring this to his attention so he'll have an emotional break-down over what a racist piece of shit he is.

>>
>>91243003
I think the bigger problem is the use of the term 'emotional retardation'.
Would people had used that term in the early 00s?
>>
>>91231391
Don't be silly. Joyce considers all black people to be valued household servants and as house wife it's her job to make sure her property is well cared for.
>>
>>91233739
>I have strong feelings about not drawing any non-canon porn of my characters, because the characters' personalities and sexualities are important!
>LMAO It's April Fools, let's draw two straight characters making out as a blatant fucking shill

It's the hypocrisy that kills me about Willis, you know. I've read and liked comics with worse art and I've read comics with worse jokes and layouts and overall story structure without raising a fuss. But the man can't do anything without making Aaron Diaz look humble and restrained.
>>
>>91244341
Yeah, Willis actively makes it hard to like his stuff because he's such a tool.
>>
>>91244341

>>
>>91244630

Something about "fetishizing lesbians being problematic" or something stupid like that, I'd wager.
>>
>>91244708
Nah, he also fetishizes mental and emotional issues, combining the right flaws and backgrounds to create Tragic but Quirky female characters for his fans to latch onto.
>>
>>91239002
Truth. If you think he only treats his criticizers with hate and vitriol, you're incorrect. Even his biggest fans are liable to end up on the other end of atomic-level snark.

>>91255529
>>91255573
>>91255594
So we know Joyce has never touched herself, and it's natural to assume that she has felt some sort of inadvertent sexual stimulation, because it's unavoidable. But the real question we need to get to the bottom of here, is has Joyce ever experienced an orgasm?
>>
>>91255658
Doubt it, she'd probably make sure whatever was ringing her bell stopped before she got to that point.
>>
>>91255597
Yeah, the packaging was nice and nondescript, but I wasn't taking any chances with anything linked to my personal checking and business accounts.

Anyone who really wants to get dirt on you, and is skilled enough to crack into a history of charges, would probably know exactly what 'BD Enterprises' really means.

Well, technically Ultra Car posing as Monkey Master tricked Dexter into stealing President Obama for the two lesbian protagonists to appeal to Obama to open up to marriage rights for gays and robosexuals alike, which only worked because Monkey Master was in on it since he wants to gay-robo marry Shia LaBeouf.

You really had to watch the episode to understand.

In today's Old News, Danny is kinda racist.

>>91257352
Because it's weird and off-putting and strangely presented?
>>
>>91257380
Yes, and also I'm reading the dialogue in a very flat tone.

And that's barely racist. Though Danny being overjoyed that bisexuality means he can call things "gay" to his heart's content and no one can stop him would be funny.
>>

Old green text re: this.
>Walky: What the fuck, Danny? I heard you were going around calling me Mowgli!?
>Danny: W-what!? I didn't mean anything by it.
>Walky: I may be unkempt but I'm not a skinny nothing like him!
>Walky tears off sweatshirt to show off his incongruously fit body
>Danny (blushing and partially covering eyes): D-dude, what are you-
>Walky (getting closer and motioning to his musculature): Admit I don't have a Mowgli bod!
>Danny: Fine, fine... your body is... fine.
>Walky (raising eyebrow): Just fine?
>Danny: What? Fit? Nice? Hot? Whatever, I apologize. Heh, I thought this was gonna be a race thing.
>Walky: I'll beat you in a race too, dude! My bod is legit!

That would definitely be funny.

I just pointed out the Mowgli remark because that's the closest anyone's gotten to being racist in the comic.

In Danny's defense, Walky does maintain an uncanny resemblance to Mowgli in hairstyle, behaviorisms, level of sophistication, and yeah, fine, skin-tone too.

Only if he wants to also delete their money from his bank account as well, I believe. He can deny pledges, thus denying the ability to comment. I wouldn't put it past Willis to give up $5/mo to spite a "hater".

I'm not sure if there's a confirmed case of this with Willis or not. I can't remember if the very first Patreanon ever said why he stopped. I know he played tricks with pulling funding at the last minute, so maybe Willis blocked his pledges.

My guess? It depends on how "disruptive" the hater is. Based on past actions, Willis would probably make a lot of comments about taking said hater's money for the privilege of having them be ignored and mocked. If said hater was willing and able to stand up for themselves (and the other patreons complained at the violation of their hugbox), Willis would then deny the pledges.

I could be Agatha. I am girl. She doesn't cuss, and it would be low-commitment since she rarely shows up. I can also pull off the cluelessness she seems to have.

And if you're fine with continuing Southern-accent Becky (but an actual girl), I could probably do it, depending on how often recording would need to be done.

It would be ideal if we would have the potential to make money from this (like via Patreon or something), because I am a poor freelance writer, so my time is almost literally money.

My biggest restriction other than time is cussing. I know it's not a big deal here and whatever, but I avoid it because I choose to.

Oh, sure. I'm just saying, do it all the time. Don't stop. Like, if/when you dub the almost-rape party scene, just break from the script entirely to discuss how a grown-ass man who was whacked twice in the head with a baseball bat and visibly bleeding managed to not only sneak away from a crowded room but without making a sound or being noticed by any bystanding witnesses. Goddamn, I still can't get over how much of an Idiot Plot that was.

Also, this strip reminded me of just how stupid the whole "Dina's hat" thing was. Remember how not only was it wrapped up in a neat little bow, but Becky also got a job out of it as well?

Also, Kickstarter update.
The campaign has hit $44.2k and is likely to hit $45k at some point. As a reminder, at $45k, Willis will share one (1) strip yet to be published with backers.

I would assume that you can donate even one (1) dollar ($1) to receive access to the strip. Personally, I still feel like the PDFs are worth sharing, and given that Kickstarters seem to be the only way to get them that's why I wouldn't mind plunking $20 for the set. But since the PDFs seem to be offered with EVERY campaign, it's not at all a priority.

Can we even be sure it's a test? What if it's just homework?

See, now, something like THIS would have also been nice to build upon over the past six or seven years of the Dumbiverse. Dorothy came to school thinking that she'd be able to go to Yale after freshman year, and for the most part she was on that track. She never appeared to be worried or struggling to make good marks, so not only does this sudden drop come out of left field, it's just barely built upon. Yes, we know Dorothy is a star pupil, but it's one thing to be a star pupil and suddenly bomb a test and another thing to be a star pupil, understand that there is a struggle that she is attempting to overcome, and THEN bomb a test.

Or, again, it may just be homework for all we know. Also, it would appear that papers are stapled in the top-right corner at Indiana University. God, I wanna titfuck Joyce.

I think the idea here is that Dorothy has been doing so much for others (and extra-curriculars for her own benefit) that it's starting to effect her grades.

So, she'll probably have to decide what has to give. Walky? Running? Chasing down rapists via non-official channels?

Although I'm sure this early it's still possible to recover from a single assignment, as long as she has been doing well otherwise. If she's never actually been doing well, or never had any other assignments, that's a different story, and one that wouldn't be consistent with our, albeit limited, view of Dorothy and classwork.

>I'm sure this early it's still possible to recover from a single assignment, as long as she has been doing well otherwise.
She has, and unless this is suddenly a midterm then she'll very well get over this. Hell, in my undergrad I had several courses that allowed one of several weekly tests to be dropped if it was the lowest of the bunch.

> If she's never actually been doing well, or never had any other assignments, that's a different story, and one that wouldn't be consistent with our, albeit limited, view of Dorothy and classwork.

I'm wondering if maybe this strip had dual meanings, and Dorothy was not down just because people didn't like her, but because she was also running into troubles in class.

>>91264384
We've seen her trying to balance stuff, but we haven't seen her success. The only class we've really seen her in is Gender Studies and we've never seen any sort of evaluation in that. Of course we can assume she's doing well from her attitude, though.

Also, early on she was literally counting minutes to spare to keep everything going, and that was before she was trying to spend more time with Joyce (as of the Ethan breakup), become RA (as of Ruth's meltdown the preceding Sunday), figure out how to catch Ryan and tell Joyce (night of the Sunday) and help Walky (as of yesterday/Tuesday when he confessed)*. So it makes some sense that something slipped during all of that, especially slipping from A to C.

However, It doesn't make sense that there's been no real change in her demeanour about that until now, outside of image related and the following exchange, which I had to take out of context. You generally know when you're not solid on a subject, so Dorothy would know when she's slipping.

*Of course, this assignment would have to predate the RA stuff unless Willis is grossly overestimating the speed of grading. Based on my experience, you wouldn't get your grades for a thing you did Monday on Wednesday the same week unless it was simple as hell to grade, and probably not even then. I'd still guess that Willis is going to make this a Monday quiz/assignment, though.

Yeah see, American grading is really messed up. In the UK a 76 mark would be a solid A.

40+ scraped pass
50+ C
60+ B
70+ A

But the way American grading works you can get a solid majority of the work right and still be told you're barely adequate.

American schools also set the bar REALLY low so a 93 in burgerland is as difficult as getting a 63 in teaville.
>>
>>91268363
It's no more weird than the Bongland system.

90+ A
80+ B
70+ C
60+ D

Barely adequate would mean you're getting less than 70% of the work correct. From the US perspective it's unthinkable that someone could get less than 50% of the work right and still pass.
>>
>>91265587

During the course of "It's Walky" Joyce has her little arc wherein she's forced to reconcile her fundie Christian views with the reality of the world, including her desire to fuck Walky and the idea that an atheist teammate of hers is supposedly hellbound upon her death.

It was actually a nifty little character arc and I thought it was done somewhat well. In the end she comes out still a Christian but with beliefs that are flexible rather than brittle.

And yes, it's yet another arc he's recycling, poorly.
>>
>>91269475

Whilst less than 50 as a pass is a bit weird, a D would not be considered barely adequate. It'd be considered an embarassing almost-fail.

C is adequate, B is good, A is very good. You basically want to hit straight Bs if you want your grades to look like you just scraped by.
>>
>>91269612

*To -not- look like you just scraped by. Missed a key word there.
>>
>>91269475
In some American schools it is more like

A 95-100
B 90-94
C 80-89
D 70-79
F 69 & lower

>get one C

Is Yale really that fucking picky over just ONE C on one test?
>>
>>91269988
Likely not. I'd assume what Dorothy's going through is a general feeling of failure and the inability to live up to one's own expectations.

But no, Yale would probably look at her overall GPA and grade balance, among other things. Pretty sure you have to write an essay like any other college application if you want to get into Yale.
>>
>>91269988
>Is Yale really that fucking picky over just ONE C on one test?
Yale isn't that hard to get into. What it is is expensive.
>>
>>91265463
It would be interesting. Because it would show that she also is hiding some stuff from Walky like he was hiding his trouble so.
>>
>>91269988
On a first-year course?

Not really.

If you're getting Cs in second, third or fourth - then they'll care, because that means you haven't bothered to change how you do things and are just coasting by. A lot of students hit a wall from high school to college.

Also, I'm surprised that no one has yet commented that Willis is doing the exact same story for three different people. Sal, Walky and now Dorothy all have a 'flagging grades' plot.
>>
>>91263865
I will immediately hate Dorthy if she somehow blames Walky for this "bad" grade and says she wants to break up because of it. She brought this on herself by having too much on her plate.

I had three different grading scales growing up because of No Child Left Behind.

Thus, my report cards are mostly inaccurate, because there were times when I got a B that literally would have been counted as an A a year later.

1st-6th grade:
93-100 was an A

7th-10th grade:
90-100 was an A

11-12th grade:
94-100 was an A

I don't remember the rest of it, because it wasn't relevant to me at the time.

From some professors and parents I hear it's just a perception change. Getting Cs in college used to be a solid grade, because you had ~75% mastery of the subject.

For whatever reason (easier courses, more competetive schooling, etc.) Cs make you a near-failure.

>For whatever reason (easier courses, more competetive schooling, etc.) Cs make you a near-failure.

More competition for work is probably the reason. It's the same as how having a college degree AT all used to be considered an accomplishment, and in the current state of America a college degree is pretty much viewed the way a high school degree/GED used to be seen. You need one to even be considered barely competent.

Probably more that she's put too much on her plate.

She's been up Walky's butt so far that she missed class once, she does journalism for the school paper, she has difficult classes (probably 18 hours a week), and she was also trying to become RA and spent a long time checking in on people and focusing on others instead of her own studies.

She wanted everyone to believe she could balance everything, but she just couldn't do it.

>a D would not be considered barely adequate. It'd be considered an embarassing almost-fail.
This, and in private universities they can basically make up their own system. At the one where I am, there is no D, it goes straight from C to F; the logic is that 60-69% simply is not adequate performance to count as a passing grade. C is considered a pass, but an embarassing one, i.e. keep hitting those numbers and you can forget about getting a job with that degree.
>>
>>91279296
Willis has done several webcomics, Roomies, It's Walky, Joyce & Walky, Shortpacked and Dumbing of Age.

It's Walky was some of the Roomies characters and some new ones dealing with aliens.

Dumbing of Age is an alternate universe of the previous comics characters where they are at college, like Roomies, but without any of the supernatural/sci-fi elements

>>
>>91279553
Has he ever done a webcomic where he use completely new cast of characters?
No, Recordicons doesn't count in case you're wondering
>>
>>91279729
Nope.

Here's the full timeline of events:

>Roomies
A slice-of-life webcomic about college roommates. It was begun in Willis' single year of college and I believe was published in his school paper, after which he dropped out and went on to continue the comic as a webcomic.
>It's Walky
A sequel to "Roomies" featuring the same characters, but as secret agents for some kind of science-fiction agency. The comic eventually ended and spun off in two directions:
>Joyce & Walky
The first "It's Walky" spin-off and another slice-of-life comic, following the titular Joyce and Walky. I believe it maintained the dramatic/science-fiction elements of "It's Walky"; I've never bothered to read it at length. This series had a spin-off of its own:
>It's Pregnancy
A very short read, as this was a comic that was created during the pregnancy period of Willis' wife. Very much comedic slice-of-life, obviously.
>Shortpacked!
The second "It's Walky" spin-off and harder comedy comic strip in which several characters from "It's Walky" work at a toy store. This is the comic that people know Willis for, primarily thanks to its later years in which it lost its comedic neutrality and started to become a soapbox. The comic ended in 2015 with a cliffhanger in which Soggies, villainous characters from old Cap'n Crunch commercials, invade the Shortpacked universe, and by default the entire "Walkyverse".

>Dumbing of Age
At some point in 2010, Willis got the bright idea to start fresh. He decided to dig back into his own past and resurrect the concept of "Roomies", but with the idea to simply do everything as differently as he could have done from the Walkyverse. Thus was born "Dumbing of Age".

And knowing is half the battle.
>>
>>91279729
He invented a handful of New characters for Shortpacked!, then stopped - and even some of those were based off other people/characters (i.e. Conquest is Talia al Ghul, Ninja Rick is someone Willis knows in real life, etc). Most of his characters in DoA are either retreads of characters he's had before (i.e. Clint is the same character as a one-appearance elderly G.I.Joe fan) or again based off people he knows. With a few exceptions, Willis has not made any original characters in at least a decade. And even the 'everyone is in college' is just the same thing as amateur 'everyone is in high school' fanfic that clogs fic sites.

I'd argue that he has made original characters, but they're all in the background and never actually seen, and nowadays they're all formless blobs meant to imply a larger crowd.
Either that, or they're one-note characters who don't actually do anything after their premiere strip. Like the Greek Chorus in Pic Related.

>And even the 'everyone is in college' is just the same thing as amateur 'everyone is in high school' fanfic that clogs fic sites.
On another note: Not only is "Dumbing of Age" just a pseudo-reboot of "Roomies", but I believe Willis said that he can just breeze through writing DoA strips and go back to sleep (so to speak).

That probably explains a little how he can have such a large buffer compared to other webcomics.
>>
>>91280286

I agree - that's why I said 'most' and 'few exceptions'. He HAS made new characters, but by and large, he's just recycling ideas and people that he's already developed. It's watching actual artistic stagnation in process.

>On another note: Not only is "Dumbing of Age" just a pseudo-reboot of "Roomies", but I believe Willis said that he can just breeze through writing DoA strips and go back to sleep (so to speak).

You're preaching to the choir, anon. I'm the one that posts that quote of his. It's the writer in me that finds that entire outlook so offensive. I could go on a whole big spiel, starting with the premise of DoA and spiralling wildly out of control from there, but I'll just say that my own viewpoint has a fundamental creative differences from Willis's.

Oops, my fingers slipped:
>"And so I thought to myself, okay, what kind of story can I write effortlessly without having to put my nose in the Internet and spend thousands of dollars on toys that should be buying my kid food instead? WELL, COLLEGE, OBVIOUSLY. Take all my characters, reboot them, and just write them forever, because I know I can. It’s my wheelhouse. I can write that on autopilot, blindfolded. "

When my sister had her second child both she and her husband were working 40+ hours a week and their first child was still a toddler. How does Willis fill his time when not working on the comic or prepping for book releases? This actually explains a lot about why so much of the comic strikes us as unfinished/unpolished.

>BONUS CHARACTER MODEL:

>I did my first attempt at a Head Alien redesign at, like, 5 in the morning. And I’d just finished Sal, and thought I could squeeze one more out before I went to bed, and I ended up drawing the worst Head Alien ever. Like, at this point I’m just changing things just to change them. I’ve never really disliked Head Alien’s post-resurrection look, and so there wasn’t really any reason to mix it up that much other than both Joyce and Sal were wearing entirely different things and I’d want him to look equally different.

>And so I drew this trainwreck.

>I showed it to Maggie in the morning and she asked me what the fuck was wrong with me and also “is that an ASCOT?” and I was like… “i think, maybe?” and then I started from scratch. whoof

I was such a fan of the unintentional claw on the right hand that I felt compelled to give the image file a creative name.

Walky should at the very least be skinny-fat. But Willis has him at basic skinny, possibly ottermode.

And Walky doesn't even swim.

They were getting along before that, but Willis functions mostly on spite so he put that bit in as if it's something everyone can relate to.
>>
>>91298849
I'm not sure Willis actually knows how to draw a skinny fat character, as simple as it should be. From memory, all his guys are planks, some have larger frames to show they're hunks but otherwise he can't be bothered to bring some variation. Walky looks like every other skinny character by default, except his head doesn't fit.
>>
>>91300236
Under a competent writer it'd be a pretty interesting relationship to explore.

>>91301766
Walky's supposed to be surprisingly fit, if anything Danny should be the skinny fat guy. Ethan is about the only real variation in body type, looking like a guy who works out but has a shit diet when he's shirtless.

Pretty much all webcomics have assets that are at a higher resolution than the final work on the site. For non-digital stuff, you scan it it at high res generally, and for digital stuff you need higher res art for the physical books to look good. It also functions as an incentive to purchase books if the art in them is nicer than on the site. It's also generally way easier to do art at a high res so detail work looks good, because pixels become apparent if you work in detail at a low resolution.

You can tell because sometimes Willis will release an early panel, or post a close-up of a done panel after the fact, and they are more than 333 pixels in height.
>>
>>91312901
Does anyone else read Joe's dialogue in Stan Smith's voice?
>>
>>91312901
You know, he could at least stick to his guns about pacing. He does about one in-universe week per year, so he should space them out accordingly and not suddenly jump ahead 3 days, which is about half a year in real time.
>>
>>91312901
S>>91312901
So yeah this is the storyline where he hooks up with Ethan.

Sudden declaration of self interest, assumption that he's found a girlfriend, storyline'll end like a year after the Mike thing happened.
>>
Anyway, how do you find strips on the site before they go up?
>>
>>91315447
You need to know the date it is scheduled to go up, and the title. Then just fill in the blanks on the URL.

The title is in the script of the comic 99% of the time, so if you have the strip and the date it will be posted, you can probably figure out the URL.
>>
>>91315548
Where do I put the date? Trying to find it on the actual site itself by punching in the name in the address bar.

>>
>>91315768
If I didn't have a life, I'd get on that brute-force thing I promised I'd make a while back.

Because that's really the only way to find a strip. You could probably do a dictionary approach, though.
>>
>>91315850
That seems way too time intensive.

I shouldn't even be reading this piece of shit comic anyway.
>>
>>91315850
I think a dictionary attack would be more practical since you have to run one for every single date, and most of his strips are titled real words.

But even so, wouldn't that kind of traffic get blocked by DDoS protection or something anyway?
>>
>>91315928
You wouldn't need to run it for EVERY date. Willis displays his buffer on the front page, so you'd only need to set it up to stop after that end of the buffer.

My ideal workflow was this:
>Get a date
>Search for the "password"
>Move on after getting a successful match
>Stop after reaching the buffer date

Or something like that. As for DDoS protection, I wouldn't imagine it would be too hard, since I could possibly code the script to move on after getting the 404 message and before it could receive/load the actual 404 page information.

Tails to the bottom of the panel or very low on the sides, one from the left, one from the right, with the bubbles kept to the bottom half of the panel. Most artists would simply frame Leslie between two silhouettes to indicate people talking behind her.

>>91317495
Cerb is wrong in that Leslie did set aside her convictions to obsess over/pursue Robin, and later went back on those convictions a second time so that she could kiss and hang out with Robin. She prints off 24 pages in the course of the strip so it can't be taking too long. The joke is that she wants to away from people as fast as she can.
>>
>>91317681
Universities don't replace their copiers often. Or ever. She's lucky it's not a purple reisograph machine from 1978.

This shit is why I liked Roomies. Danny being a fucking emotional Tard and Joe calling him out.

Fuck, why can't this just be Roomies in 2017?

>all Desantos supporters rape
Well in a sample survey of one, checks out.

Man...I wish this Rape plot was over. It's so bad

can't wait to see how he delays this sideplot for another year.

Everything about it is terrible. It is a perfect fractal - no matter how far you break it down, each part of it is just as bad as the rest of it.

Hello roommate, she wants to chat up a cute boy.
>>
how many more times will rapin ryan get hit in the face before this is over?
if it ever ends
>>
>>91326061
Like five more times. Once when Dorothy forces a confrontation on the mean streets of Bloomington, Indiana, twice when he fights Sal on top of a moving semi-trailer filled with women he's trafficking to his rape fortress, and twice more when Amazi-Girl stops him from fleeing the country in his family's rape yacht by driving her Amazi-Toyota off a bridge as the yacht passes underneath.
>>
>>91325080
>>91325616

>Scarface sideplot drags on for years
>Finally gets cornered by police and taken away
>Some months later Amazi-Girl sees "Roofie Rapist Escapes from Prison!"
>Takes another few years to resolve
>He escapes again
>And again

Eventually we'll have the "How many times does Amazi-Girl have to catch him before he becomes her fault and should kill him?" plot.
>>
>>91326356
Man, by the time they're done, ryan might as well be voiced by André Sogliuzzo.
The original actor would be too expensive,
you see.
>>
>>91326502
Nah, we'll have Robin accidentally catch him, allowing her to secure a landslide victory in the election.

Here's a fun treat I did while procrastinating. Enjoy looking at how Ryan's appearance has changed over time.

Yes.

I considered it! I figured I'd go with the less condescending route. I also seriously considered copying and pasting the "it will never die" directly from the comic, but I couldn't find it immediately.

Did this just for you, though!

It would be so great if he succumbed to constant head trauma and became an invalid/died, and then Amazi-Girl got jailed for it.

I always thought it would be interesting, if he got amnesia and started acting good, only to have Joyce have trouble forgiving him. It could lead into an interesting crisis-of-faith plot line, which almost insures that it will never happen. I'm pretty sure even the near-rape plot would never have happened with current-Willis, considering how he handled Becky's mom's suicide.
>>
Still no Joyce/Dorothy pic? no fucking way I'm paying $25 for slipshine just to see a pic that may or may not have Joyce's labia in it.
>>
>>91331289
It's gonna take a full Dina/Becky comic for me to throw that kinda money away.
>>
>>91331314
Yeah, I think my threshhold would be a Dina/Becky comic, or an AU comic where we get to see Joyce get raped at that party.

That is surprising, I thought we were only 10 to 20-something.
Glad to know not a lot of people liked Willis' ethics and antics.
>>
>>91332480
It also helps that this thread is like 4 days old. Hopefully we can get it outta here before tonight's new strip.
>>
>>91332593
when does the new strip get released here? I'm on the west coast so Willis usually updates the site between 9-10 pm for me.
>>
>>91296562
He NEVER has scleras and yeah he as a person is pretty awful. Zero effort and everything is handed to him in all aspects of his life.
-Good grades
-His parents' preference over his sister
-Sculpted despite eating more sugar a day than mama june
-A smart, active, kind girlfriend that puts out without need for effort

I just hope he finally learns where the ground is and bucks up instead of the "Hey mediocrity isn't so bad" talk he may have with Dorothy. Otherwise fuck him. He's shallow, immature, and needs to learn what work is.

>>91332666
Patreon here. Nice to see you joined us, Satan.

Willis releases it on Patreon at 11:55PM, and I usually get around to posting it somewhere between 12AM-12:30AM EST. I try to immediately save it to preserve any fuck-ups that he made before he can correct them, then I post to the thread whenever I get a moment in-between work/games.
>>
>>91332824
It'll be in a new thread tonight though, since with that post I sent the thread into autosage.

Search the catalog for "doag" and you'll usually find it. If someone else makes the thread, don't do it until this one is archived, and just try to keep /doag/ in the subject. Makes it easier to find in the archives. As long as we don't use the actual word "general", and we never have more than one thread up, mods probably won't bother us.

you don't even namefag, good job

Thanks, dude. I just burn a fiver a month so you folks don't have to.

As far as namefagging, I like commenting after the strip post without any special treatment. I don't offer any special skills other than my ability to waste money and be awake at midnight (most of the time), after all.
