How hard is it to understand? It's Disney. Aside from interesting exceptions, they almost always are not making and designing these movies to appeal directly to your demographic, going off the assumption that you're shitposting on 4chan.

Granted, that never means the medium is "for kids", but unless it is explicitly aimed at an older demographic, it has to be nice toned down so it won't scare off parents.

A leather pants and midriff outfit is cheap manchild fap bait to begin with, so I don't think you should be proud of broadcasting your tastes.

Doesn't fit at all with what they were trying to go for. The Disney version of BH6 are all a bunch of giant nerds forced to become heroes, so of course they would change it. And honestly, her original design sucks ass. It's just so generic and boring.

i read it when it first came out, it was ok
i do feel like what they did with the movie was such a drastic departure from the book, that i wouldn't even consider it the same concept
i don't understand the point in doing an adaptation at all when it has almost nothing to do with the original story
hell, the only reason i read the comic was because sunfire and silver samurai were in it and they were written out of the movie, so i had absolutely no reason to see it.

You just answered your own question. The fact the nobody read, liked, or even cared about this comic means that they can tweak it without much issue. It would be a waste to create an entirely new IP when they can simply recycle dead ones.

Disney probably changed hers as well as the others designs to avoid further legal troubles with Fox. Big Hero 6 was already sort of in a legal grey area when Disney greenlit it so they changed a lot of things about it to keep Fox's lawyers at bay.
