Jerry comes in and does something stupid because he's a giant asshole who everyone should hateRick makes fun of him,proceeds to point out how people who care about things are losers and detached irony is the only way to liveRick talks about science. Rick and Morty reminds me of a time when I was 13 and I thought EVA was deep anime.
Then I grew into an adult and realize it's complete shit that tries to be smart and make me feel smart.
I hate Rick not because the intentionally made him a psychotic asshole but they made him a psychotic asshole that you're suppose to feel sorry for.
Rick episodes that you're suppose to sympathize are just cringey as when Family Guy try to make psa episode like domestic abuse or female on male rape.
There is nothing wrong with Morty as a character but then why is Jerry also an idiot too? Why is it that every cartoon comedy have the males as idiots and the females geniuses.
Wouldn't be great if Rick hated Jerry because he is super smart like he is but at the opposite end of the spectrum that Jerry is a nice father while Rick is an asshole. Wouldn't be great if Morty was the only idiot in the family and we get to question why everyone is smart but Morty is dumb as a bag of hammers?
Speaking of Jerry I even hate how they paint him as the bad guy when he did nothing wrong. The joke is dumb and not funny, it makes me hate Rick more.
Season 3 premiere is the worst April fools joke AS ever did. Why not air a show that people waited 10 years or more for and instead air le reddit epic XDDD athiest show.
