The Farmhouse stuff was necessary, cause Age of Ultron was moving from action scene to action scene at a ridiculous pace. You have the Hydra attack to 5 minutes at the first Ultron attack to 3 minutes and they're in Africa fighting. Take out the Farm stuff, and then they would be in South Korea almost instantly.

Even if the action scenes were already recorded and *had* to be used, all it would take to make the scene even a bit better is have the first fight take place, they board the airship tired and get live footage of Ultron's machines fucking shit up everywhere and they turn exasperated at Stark who then quips about how 'staring at him isn't helping' or something. Then they just intercut scenes of all various locations and action scenes with some flow into it.
Takes up about 5 minutes at most, with only the longest fight scene being the first one.
