Don't know what that person is talking about, but he wasn't crying over that. Once he figured out that there really was no supreme plan his mom had for him, and that the video was nothing special and just what they had planned on calling him if he was a girl, he calmly accepted it.

This episode added a couple of things that will almost certainly be brought up later

The problem is that people are done with buildup and want payoff at this point. Shit's just dragging harder and harder and it seems almost like they're intentionally dodging answers at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I take it seriously, I really like it when the plot thickens and some shit goes down, but I'm not going to start getting pissed when Steven doesn't do enough intense shit. Im fine with some flashack or humorous episodes. This isn't Dragon Ball Z.

I mean, you can't have a kid go through all the shit you want, it needs to be spaced out to have a sense of what he might lose, and to give breathing space for characters.

Everyone, even those who love it, knows that DBZ took forever to get to the big picture in every arc. Yet even with all its long windedness people still enjoyed it, they eventually got to the big fight and it always paid off.
Ive only started watching SU but everything ive read so far points to the long windedness leading nowhere. There is no pay off for all the boring shit, its just boring filler episode followed by boring filler and then maybe an action scene or two, back to boring filler.
