I just love Wolfman. it could just be nostalgia up at this point. I just picked up the first vol in trade and planning on getting all the 6 others through judas contract. I know they have a omni coming out in a bit but it will be a long fucking time before it catches up to judas contract era. and this arc was one of the first I read when I got into comics. I've never read Claremont's X-Men and haven't heard it but if a lot of people actually say that then I'll have to give it a go.

Honestly, the main similarity is that both series managed to successfully relaunch their titles around the same time, by also shedding a lot of the campiness that both previous series are now well known for.

Sure, in comparison Titans doesn't exactly sit at the same level as Claremont's X-Men, but really, not many series do.

I may go pick up that steelbook if it doesn't have the stupid fucking sticker on it. I don't have any of the movies physically but I actually want to get them all eventually. don't really collect dvds but I really enjoy these movies (even the shitter ones). I just wish they stuck with the showcases. those were legit.

If you take these movies for what they are like MOST of the audience that doesn't read comics and doesn't know shit about them, none of those movies are bad.

Most people have loved the shit out of the Killing Joke outside neckbeards online.

Yeah I'm not going to say that the movies are perfect or beyond criticism, but a trully bad one? Like Avengers Assemble and that spin-off movie with Hulk and Dr Strange which was just as badly made levels of bad?
