Kingdom Hearts is super autistic and gay and I can't believe it's fans are looking for nothing in it but the shallow pandering they're getting. I thought maybe there was something great hidden about it, the gameplay is pretty good, but it turns out KH fans are sincerely interested in exactly the surface level 'hey Cloud I'm Goofy! You gotta do we what do and put on a happy face! '...Not interested'' fan fiction interactions that the game offers.

At first the keyblades seemed unique, special. However, ever since we saw the remnants of the Keyblade War, we have known that there are plenty of keyblades out there. But is Sora's keyblade still special because it is "the Kingdom Key of the Realm of Light", specifically given to an inhabitant of a world being submerged in DARKNESS for the specific purpose of defeating said DARKNESS, is it more effective at combating DARKNESS than other keyblades?

This. The keyblade can wreck creatures of darkness. And hell even Light ones aren't immune to the effects. Keyblade totally wrecked Eraqus whose element is Light. A keyblade is a tool. And if the user is skilled with it? It can accomplish and cause a lot of damage. Aku would get destroyed by Sora. And it doesn't help that Aku is not that tough. He's dumb, permits himself being ridiculed by children, and simply doesn't know how to maximize his powers.

I don't think so. The Keyblade is a weapon meant to combat darkness, but a big sticking point in Kingdom Hearts is that "dark is not necessarily evil", and that darkness and light are actually meant to exist in equal measure, with neither force totally subjugating the other. The Keyblade's a balancing tool more than anything.

Bearing in mind that the "dark=/=evil" distinction exists within the KH canon, we have to assume that Aku, a being that IS actually evil, couldn't be destroyed by the Keyblade. At best, I think it would probably be able to hurt him, but it would take a weapon like Jack's, one explicitly made to destroy evil (not "darkness") to actually end his life.

That's probably why the more powerful Disney villains keep coming back, actually. The Keyblade can harm them and excise the forces of darkness they're wielding, but can't ultimately destroy them because they're not made of darkness, they're made of evil.

so is there any game with an aku like boss/villain? I want to fight a shapeshifting master of darkness but the actual samurai jack game doesn't seem that good.
