Sometimes I was interested when I'd read the episode descriptions, but they always managed to undersell it. Funny how writers from that show would go on to work for TTG, which is just a bad parody of the original series.

What I hated about Code Lyoko is it aired during the whole anime boom of the 00's and I just wanted to watch cool looking shit like Naruto, not this weird french cartoon with a boring theme song, boring cast, boring reused animation of them skateboarding the sewers and transforming into their CGI cosplays just so they can stand around and do fuck all. It was like the animation equivalent to watching someone else play a video game.
