I haven't seen this in years, but I do wonder how a kid's show was supposed to properly parody anime. How are you supposed to show the tits?

The show would have been amazing if they had a couple of episodes dedicated to actual japanese culture and stuff but as a wacky workplace comedy it works just fine.

The VAs are gold. Mikey's delivery on, "I, Mikey Simon, hereby give my friend Gonard to a bunch of pirates" still gets me every time.

I used to like Bayblade a lot.

And admitedly I had a live action phase, iCarly, ZOE 101 among other shit.

I loved Kappa Mikey because the Spanish dub was so fucking funny holy fuck.

As an Australian, I weirded out that this existed. Australia has a very significant weaboo demographic, and this is spot on, but being an Aussie TV series it's naturally terrible anyway and I have no idea what Rove was thinking or who he thought would watch this.
