I read through a friend's issue earlier today, I remember a page like that being in the back. I think it was the artist from #2 instead of the writer and it seemed like he was talking more about how they came up with the plot in #2 than about how they would resolve the cliffhanger, but I really just glanced at it for a couple of seconds so I could be mistaken there.

The only way this is gonna be hotter is if king kong here uses Kamandi as a butt plug.

It was what I expected, but a little better. I expected terrible from this team but the plot was pretty decent. They did though meet my expectation of not playing ball. The cliffhanger and last issue plot was completely handwaved and ignored, they didn't even bother addressing the Manhunters or human colony, which is to be expected from the team that also didn't play ball with the random pairing part of the challenge either. Another case of them thinking they can just whatever they want and not care about anything else you can see in all of their current work.
