Accurate police representation.
>>91132827
Man, I wish there were no cops. If there were no cops, there'd be no crime. Imagine, we could rape as many bitches as we'd like.

Howard Porter will no longer be part of the Scooby Apocalypse creative team starting in July: https://twitter.com/MrHowardPorter/status/845646175055183872
>>91132982
>dat middle panel
Kind of... odd.
>>91132778
Been like 1 1/2 decades since I've glanced at Banana Splits, so I couldn't tell ya how accurate to their character this feels.
>>91133035
What the fuck was this? Why does this even exist.
>>91132731
Should probably put story somewhere in the post next time
>>91133523
I have a feeling they have the rights and have to use the characters in order to hold on to them and made this now there good for a couple of years, Kind of like how marvel use to release a captain marvel comic book every couple of years to hold on to the rights.
>>91133067
Would you watch "It's Goofy Time" the play by Snagglepus?
>>91132886
Fuckit
I'm buying it for this page alone
>>91132947
"It's okay to be violent if they're robots" - all 90s-00s cartoons
>>91133453
It's pretty close. The ape is more chill than he was in the show, I think.
>>91133752
It's gonna be awkward if we ever get sentient, human-like AI and they get butt hurt over all the evil robots in fiction.
>>91133095
>Died for no porpoise at all!
That's legitimately funny!
Snagglepuss confirmed to have no mirth or humor! Not actually gay!
well that was horrible
should've know DC would fuck this up like everything else
>>91132731
>Not taking place in Six Flags over Texas
Dropped! Not going to pirate another issue until they fix this egregious error!
>>91133964
>The Suicide Squad in Six Flags
rethink this
>>91132956
Hahaha oh wow.
I cannot believe this is a real thing DC published.
It's too much for me.
>>91133964
Six Flags Over Texas sounds like a character from Kill Six Billion Deamons or a Bayonetta move or something.
>>91132991
Is that a necessary sentiment in a Hanna-Barbera comic storytime?
>>91133806
Shrek your flesh privilege, human
>we3 if Morrison took heavy acids and US cable TV before writing it
>>91134217
I agree, although I would add that it could also work as a No More Heroes boss name. The Six Flags naming scheme is old-school and sounds weird because of it, but I like it.
>>91132854
>Normies
>>91132878
Holy shit, this fucking page. We /elephantmen/ now.
>>91132982
This is /d/
>>91133015
Caldwell's Harley is pretty great.
>>91132778
>Hey, it beats "banana squad"
Does it, comic?
Does it?
This was surreal.
And actually pretty damn good. Thanks, OP.
>>91132854
>Normies
This is how I know DC writers shitpost on 4chan
>>91132868
>Snap
The elephant just killed someone
>>91132868
this woudl be a great ongoing desu
>>91132982
>Missile Codes???
Can we crop that out and make that a reaction image
I wish caldwell was on more books. I'm really liking how he's inked here. More cartoony, thicker lines, and the colors really pop out.
>>91133035
>Banana Split Gangsta Rap
WEW LADS
The spoilers from the storytimes of the back-ups last week really took out the gas from this week's
>>91133007
Is she wearing a Astro-boy belt?
>>91133035
I should have expected this based on the cover being a homage of the NWA Straight Out of Compton album cover.
>>91133035
>Waller and Flagg took the squad on a field trip
So cute
>>91132956
What
The fuck
>>91132731
> BONUS FEATURE, FAGGLEPUSS AND THE HAMFISTS
>>91132886
Fucking shitty trigger discipline.
>>91132974
> I let him sniff my finger and now he's homin' in on Flag
Not much room for interpretation there
>>91132923
oh hey thats kind of Katana's best outfit
>>91133067
I genuinely appreciate that they never once mention Rep. Nixon by name here.
>>91136485
Lions/musicians are not known for their trigger discipline, to be fair.
>>91132831
>furry convention
>>91133035
thanks, really enjoyed this. I dig the art a lot too, cute but still effective, its like what Squirrel Girl wishes it could be
>>91132982
>>91136884
Caldwell is what Henderson wishes she were, someone experienced enough to turn in 22 pages a month that don't look like shit (although this being a one-shot Caldwell might have had longer).
>>91132974
Wow that was pretty lewd.
>>91132991
And there would not be anyone who could stop you being raped
>>91135025
He crushed the guy's kneecap, the letterer shouldn't have put the sfx closer to the guy's neck
>>91132878
>"Two trailer park girls go round the outside" plays
>>91137090
i would believe that, but then looking at Henderson's own fanart, its really no better then her published work
>>91133035
There must be a logical explanation of how this comic is so good
>>91132923
This is some movie synergy I can get behind
>>91135677
>>91133035
>Croc got himself his own robot doll.
>>91133035
>This is actually happening isn't it
Cheeky
>>91133067
As a non-Seppo, for the longest time I thought HUAC was just a thing made up for JSA comics
>>91133067
Holy shit I can't believe that 'the unfunnies' predicted Snagglepuss working in theatre.
>>91133035
Best book of the week.
>>91133095
PEANUT!
>>91133132
That was legitimately beautiful
>>91137967
He likes them young.
>>91139479
Decent Yield.
>>91133035
whats croc been doing with a teen robot head all this time?
>>91132731
What the fuck is going on here!?
>>91133145
Is it announced when will it come out?
>>91133523
At least it wasn't rage inducing like Top Cat being an asshole to his friends. Fuck that.
>>91137967
This is the Rebirth origin of Baby Doll, clearly.
>>91132787
>animal-americans
fuck, is one of those comics
>>91141795
> teen robot head for teen robot head
I mean, it's not rocket science
>>91133122
Jesus christ
This is my kind of shit
>>91133084
I be simply reading too much into it, but I think that second panel is ABSOLUTE GENIUS.
The artist, knowing the reader would focus on dialogue first, had the two nonspeaking people already facepalming in frustration since we'd have read and know what they were facepalming about, THUS saving space not being wasted on reaction faces panels afterward.
>>91132731
When I saw the first news of DC doing Hanna Barbera comics, I thought they were going to be boring adaptations of episodes with the same art and same boring humor
I want them to keep being redpilled
>>91133035I TORTURE YOUUUUUU
>>91132831
*Heathens playing in the background*
>>91132778
I would not be unwilling to give Banana Squad a second look.
I assume it'd be about Asian Americans unsuccessfully trying to infiltrate the Tongs, maybe?
>>91132923
>Momtana emotionlessly cutting up two little girls.
I am conflicted about this.
>>91132947
That Harley's pretty cute.
>>91133015
That last panel seems exploitable.
>>91133095
>>91133104
>>91133116
The fact that this is like a super serial commentary on homosexuality in the 1950s, and STILL reads as 100% in Snagglepuss's farcical voice is so goddamn fantastic.
>>91132731
https://youtu.be/flMS2gHFOH0
>>91134217
>Six Flags Over Texas sounds like a character from Kill Six Billion Deamons or a Bayonetta move or something.
And yet, it's the only Six Flags where the name is an actual reference to something.
>>91146781
It's OK when they're robots.
>>91136485
He's a bassist, dude. Who knows if he's ever even used a gun before.
>>91143887
Fuck..... is true!!!!
>>91132827
I know. I can't believe all the white people dressing in black-face and driving those violent crime statistics through the roof.
>>91147225
I assumed all Six Flags were a reference to Six Flags Over Texas, bit many simply dropped the Texas mention.
>>91132755
huh... that is the best mask Deadshot's had in a while.
>>91132923
I love this outfit, has Hakama + jacket ever been done before?
>>91132974
wait... so Flagg is into butt stuff? Stuff-in-his-butt buttstuff?
>>91143887
I laffed my goddamn head off.
>>91132731
This art only serves to remind me of how Prez never got more then six issues and a election special stories in a one shot. Still mad
>>91150652
Who knew that something more outlandish then the Prez comic book would actually happen in real life?
>>91132947
I like the way Caldwell draws girls. Harley looks pretty QT here
>>91134646
Dude, the comic fucking opens with a white cop attempting to murder a character who refers to himself as a minority without provocation.
They drew first blood.
Alright. That was completely fucking nuts, but actually not bad. I'm guessing this is a one shot, unless it sells like crazy?
>>91149736
>>91136739
It's obscure as fuck and historical. There's only ONE time that it would have shown up in history, and that's early in the Meiji restoration, when Japan was rapidly shifting to copy the west for the jacket, and gave women in school pants, for the hakama.
The only depiction I can think of that anyone in he west would have probably seen is Last Blade 2, Hibiki.
>>91136485
At least they show the reasonable consequences.
I want this to be an ongoing, separate continuity or at least like old Vertigo or Azzarello's WW kind of continuity with the rest if the DCU.
>>91151866
Yes. The art was good, and the breezy light plot flowed well.
>>91133964
>Six Flags over Texas
>Not the superior Six Flags over Georgia
TOP KEK
>>91133132
I wonder if Russell is ever going to write anything that's not absolutely guaranteed to have low sales.

All the 60's Music Videos and opening\closing scenes were filmed in Six Flags Over Texas.
I think the 00's Music Videos were film In Six Flags New England but don't know for sure.
I like how Flagg is drawn in this, it makes him unique and with a personality, not the jo schmo from the current series that could be replaced with Steve Trevor and no one would even know.
