How different would things be if an infant Darkseid crash landed in front of the Kents and raised by the Kents?
He would jus be Uxas, a particularly ugly farmer.

Interesting.
Darkman. Supersied, superdark. Siedman.

You already have that scenario basically with Orion. Darkseid exchanged his son Orion with Scott Free (Highfather's son) as a way to try to ensure peace between Apokolips and New Genesis. So Orion has Darkseid's genetics but was raised by a good guy (Highfather). He grew up to be a good guy too, so that's probably what would happen with Darkseid too if he were raised by good people. Granted Orion is more of an angry anti-hero type compared with Superman, but he channels his genetic ruthlessness / anger into good causes.

Interestingly, Scott Free also turned out to be a good guy despite being raised by bad people. So basically in DC it works like this:
Good Nature + Good Nurture = Good
Good Nature + Bad Nurture = Good
Bad Nature + Good Nurture = Good
Bad Nature + Bad Nurture = Bad

Doesn't Orion only keep his shit together because a computer regulates his brain enough that he doesn't start acting like an evil dickhead all the time?
How long could he go on staying a good guy without his Motherbox?

His motherbox does have the ability to calm him down, but I don't know that this means he would be evil without it. I think it would just mean he'd have more angry outbursts. On Earth that'd just mean he'd be placed on antidepressants or something.

Orion is always one step away from the ends justifying the means. I imagine an American Darksied would turn into General Patton on steroids.

>a particularly ugly farmer.
It's this kind of shallow discrimination that makes lord Darkseid's conquest of all life our only salvation.
Only under his foot will we all be equally oppressed.

It'd be harder to hide the fact he's an alien, that's for sure.

>Siedman
Finally, we know who to blame for all those Anons losing their sides over the years.

This, more or less.
