Leaving all your favorite ships, pairings etc out of the equation, and assuming it wasn't rushed, shoehorned or implimented in a way that screams pandering, would a romantic relationship arc between Keith and Lance actually work?

I mean I hear that they want to put in a fag couple and apparently one of the creators (not sure which one) said he's warm to the idea of Keith and Lance becoming a couple.

What do anons think about it, honestly?

As far as it goes canonically and logically it's possible but would be difficult to implement, and would rely on ideas such as Lance being bi as he chases girls all the time and the whole "opposites attract" kind of trope.
