Marvel needs to fucking staff purge, get a new EIC, and then put their writers on a leash so they can't fuck shit up on a whim.
Then they need to retcon as many of the asinine decisions made over the past few years. No stupid event to explain it, just an old fashioned scratch.
They should then release a public statement apologizing for the shitty direction they've been taking, especially over the past few years.
I know Disney doesn't give a shit about the comics department right now because that's not their bread and butter, but hopefully when they look at the god damn numbers and the lackluster quality eventually (probably after the MCU dies down a bit). They'll start trying to make some changes with the intention of making a profit.

Even the best selling comic doesn't compete with even a mediocre cartoon show or downright shitty movie in terms of profit.

Disney doesn't give a shit. What they care about are the movie and the related revenue streams. The money from publishing comics is peanuts compared to it. This is ultimately why the MCU and Feige report directly to Disney instead of Marvel Corporate now (because that is the only shit Disney cares about).
