It was a Malaysian cartoon that aired in India and Malaysia three years ago. It was successful enough in those markets to get a second season, but I think there was a big hiatus because the studio is small and was working on something else.

Like, 95% of foreign cartoons never leave their markets. Hell, even the ones that go global don't always make it to the United States, like Geronimo Stilton or Pumpkin Reports. Doesn't mean those shows are failures.

I guess Axle will be two and Tag will be one. Frankly, I think Axle is a terrible character. For such a "great" and "legendary" racer, he had to cheat to win, and even then, only barely won. I'd really love of it he's terrible in season two and doesn't even make it on the podium at the end, but I'm pretty sure the season will go in a fairly generic route and have Tag finally beat him fairly and win over him in the final episode of the season.
