I completely forgot about this show until I saw this post. The only episode I remember is the weird guy with the metal jaw who was trying to eat him.

Secret Saturdays had an ending. Paraphrasing here, actual spoilers in this tag. Zak sacrifices himself to kill Argost, who turns out is the Himalayan Yeti. Since he absorbed Zak Monday's Kur powers, Argost becomes a second Kur. Zak Monday is antimatter evil version of Zak Saturday, and things of matter can't come into contact with their antimatter counterparts or reality fucks up - and since he absorbed Zak Monday, Argost is now Antimatter Kur. Zak Saturday uses this to erase Argost outright, at the cost of his own life.

What a strange show. It wasnt too action heavy but it was one of the last pure action adventure shows on CN (how pathetic). I remeber liking it back in the day. How well does it hold up? Also did the guy who made this go on to do anything else?

OP here. Not sure what the creator went on to do, but its still a solid series. I say go back and watch it if you want. Some things like the time skip from the Antarctica mission to being on the run months later is somewhat badly done, but otherwise its worth seeing again.

It's a better show than most people here give it credit for. It's not perfect, but when it's good, it's pretty much DCAU-quality. Some of the earlier standalone episodes are forgettable and unengaging, and that probably hurt its reputation. This definitely improves in the second half of the show.

Argost is the best thing about the show by far. He's honestly worth it by himself. If you like charming, charismatic, classy but unapologically evil villains, he'll become a favorite. The man behind the mask is my favorite reveal of all time, so don't look anything up.
