[SECRET WARRIORS INTENSIFIES]

Why the hell Zola has a fly spray as head?
>>
>>91082872
it's supposed to be a camera so he can see

it still looks dumb though
>>
>>91082555
Faustus is kind of out of place among all of these guys

Viper and Gorgon are the heads of major international organizations
Hive is sentient pile of starros
Zola is a genius scientist and better geneticist than Beast
And the new Madame Hydra is some sort of elder god from prehistory
>>
>>91082909
Hive is hte one I feel out of place, but I guess is to force the MCU shit

A simpler time.
>>
>>91082555
Good to see that they finally got some glass for the table.
>>
>>91082909
>Faustus is kind of out of place among all of these guys
Don't underestimate him, he's pulled a lot of shit over the years and his skills make him quite dangerous. Like brainwashing tons of people and organizations, mentoring Moonstone undermining SHIELD by making their agents open fire on protesters, turning the 1950s Cap into the Grand Director in order to start race wars, making Sharon Carter kill Captain America and try to grentrify Jersey City (OK maybe that last one isn't very impressive).
>>
>>91082982
>the physical manifestation of the Will of Hydra is out of place on the Inner Council of Hydra, which he was already a member of in his last appearance
Fuck off, /tv/. Stop pretending like you know what you're talking about.
>>
>>91082982
I knew some casual would say that. Look here >>91082993 , Hive was in the comics years before he was on Agents of SHIELD. This New High Council is clearly an homage to Secret Warriors, not to to Agents of SHIELD or else we would have Ward.
>>
>>91083027
Did Hickman ever finish this stuff or is it still all lingering bullshit
>>
>>91083027
FUCK YOUR CHARTS TONY
>>
I wanna fuck the bitch with the gold mask
>>
>>91082993

Good to see they finished making their table in between series.
>>
Did that book ever reveal what Kraken is?
>>
>>91083071
It was supposed to be 60 issues, but it was cancelled at 28 so he had to rush the ending. He "finished" it, but it was a gimped version of the original plan and it clearly shows. Still worth reading though.

The thing which didn't get finished was SHIELD, which had 2 issues left, of which Weaver finished the art on and Hickman finished the writing, but Marvel isn't releasing it because Hickman quit after Secret Wars and they're salty about it so they're keeping those two issues locked in a vault as leverage to get him back. Obviously, Hickman doesn't really give a fuck at this point though.
>>
>>91083071

Lingering b.s. I think. Don't think Secret Warriors history has been properly connected to Hickman's SHIELD has been properly connected to the actual modern MU yet other than vague references.
>>
>>91083126
He was originally Daniel Whitehall, but Jake Fury killed and replaced him. Then Jake was killed. The current Kraken is hinted to be Ian Rogers.
>>
>>91083126

He was Jake Fury afair and working for Nick the whole time. How Hydra/Strucker didn't notice that one of their top lieutenants was Fury's brother I can't remember..

Except for this which does
>>
>>91083163
Well, he always wears the mask. It probably has some kinda voice modulator in it.
>>
God as much as I liked early Secret Warriors and the idea of SHIELD those things crawled up their own asses something fierce.
>>
>>91083126
We don't know who this New Kraken is. All we know is that he was living in Scotland, he's apparently supposed to be dead and that the New Madame Hydra considers him "family".
Ian Rogers/Zola would be a pretty good bet, but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd suddenly be loyal to Hydra.

>>91083163
Daniel Whitehall kept very detailed notes about absolutely everything so Jake knew everything Daniel knew. Except for the fact that Daniel mentored the Gorgon because he kept that out of his journals since it was a pet project, which screwed up Nick Fury's plan.
>>
>>91083169

What does that state exactly? How is SHIELD related to the Brotherhood of the Shield? How did the Spear in the East end up as Hydra/The Hand? Etc etc..
>>
>>91083213
That is literally Leonardo Davinci on that page Anon
>>
>>91083145
>Don't think Secret Warriors history has been properly connected to Hickman's SHIELD
Have you actually read Hickman's Secret Warriors?
>>
>>91083169
>Hickman's SHIELD
Reminds me that I read plenty of gay porn that was less homoerotic than that series.
>>
>>91083169
I completely forgot about this, and how dumb it is having that group of people sitting around a table being cordial with each other is such a load of horseshit.
>>
>>91083218
>>91083213
>>91083169
>Da Vinci in da house

So Amanda Love will save Steve Rogers?
>>
>>91083219

Ok maybe I'm just dumb. Someone explain it to me then please? How is the modern SHIELD gov agency founded by Fury related to the ancient Brotherhood of the Shield? How and why did the Spear become Hydra? Where does Nick being the Man on the Wall fit into everything?
>>
>>91083249
A dude in the SHIELD comics is in the 616 comic talking to a table including Duggan and Fury

You don't get much more deliberate than that.

For those who don't know, we finally have a Bingo card.
>>
>>91082993
That table is utterly useless as a table.
>>
>>91083256

What was Da Vinci doing? How are the modern agency SHIELD and the Brotherhood of the Shield related?
>>
>>91083270
This is why Baron Strucker is no longer in charge of Hydra
>>
>>91083264

Keked at Bendis written tie in contradicts the main event. Jeez his Ultimate End really made no fucking sense at all.
>>
>>91083264
I will hate it if maria hill saves the day
>>
>>91083283
I don't care but they are clearly related. He is probably there setting the whole thing up.
>>
>>91083249
In 1961, after the events of Hickman's SHIELD result in the Brotherhood being all but destroyed, the last remanents of the Brotherhood led by DaVinci gather the 12 greatest spymasters in the world in order to recreate the Brotherhood.

This alliance went tits up when the Russians among the group betrayed the rest, splintering off into their own group, Leviathan. Strucker teams up with those from the East (along with Whitehall) and splinters off into Hydra, the modern incarnation of The Spear with Strucker as the leader.

Fury blames DaVinci for unleashing Hydra and Leviathan on the world, gives him the finger, and returns to America with the few remaining members DaVinci's new brotherhood to create SHIELD to protect the world from Leviathan and Hydra.

It's covered in Secret Warriors #25 along with the various charts that Hickman crams into his books.
>>
>>91082555
Will they let Zemo and Otto sit at the table?
>>
>>91082780
>>91083027
You think Hickman is giving him tips?

>>91083198
You think Remender's helping him?

>>91083378
Otto's there by proxy through Zola, Zemo by Steve
Does Steve sit at the head?
>>
>>91083378
Otto is just one of Arnim Zola's HYDRA lieutenants, so he reports to Zola. He's not High Council material.

Zemo probably will get a seat though.
>>
>>91083409
>Otto answering to anybody, let alone Zola
What book do I have to read to understand this bullshit?
>>
>>91083378
otto doesn't seem all that interested in hydra shit he's only around because they offered to not fuck with his junkyard lab and a chance to fuck with peter even more
>>
>>91083400
Nah, Spencer is just clearly a fan of Hickman's Secret Warriors/Shield considering he's put references to both in a lot of his books going back to Secret Avengers. In that regard, Spencer is kind of Hickman's protege

Likewise, Spencer had to pick up the pieces from Remender's Captain America, so he clearly read it going into his own run. Makes sense that he would try to tie up some of Remender's loose ends.
>>
>>91083422
>>91083409
Otto is working WITH Zola and Hydra, not FOR them. At least that's the way he views it.
>>
>>91083437
>In that regard, Spencer is kind of Hickman's protege
They also started Avengers World together
>>
>>91083422
Otto getting recruited happened at the end of ASM #25. Otto goes to one of his old bases only to find it overrun with Hydra. He kills them all, then right as he's about to leave before reinforcements arrive, Arnim Zola rolls up and says that since he killed that Hydra Cell's Lieutenant, he earned his place as its leader. Otto is about to tell him to fuck off when Zola says they'd give him all the resources and troops he needs to destroy Parker Industries so Otto takes him up on the offer.
>>
>Hydra
>One only like two white guys.

What happened to Nazis?

Are we too good for Nazis?

Despicable.
>>
>>91083549
>Otto is full evil again
Fuck status quo
>>
>>91083120
The Glass Top what a bitch to ship. That's really the only reason they Turned Cap, so he'd stop breaking the damn thing in shipping.
>>
>>91083342

Cool. Ty.
>>
>>91083634
Arnim Zola used to be white

Add in Steve and it's still 4 White guys out of a group of 8 and 2 white women
>>
>>91082555
Wait. So will they help Zemo's Masters of Evil 8.0 or try to kill them?

>>91083045
>the physical manifestation of the Will of Hydra is out of place on the Inner Council of Hydra

I'm sorry. Do you see any fucking starfish on the Hydra emblem?

>>91083027
I'm kind of annoyed that their origin story was such a goddamn letdown.

>>91083071
>>91083169
>>91083241
>>91083242
Leonardo Da Vinci (to minimize surprises in his line of work) wanted to make sure he knew what the fuck was what when it came to clandestine organizations in the modern era. So he basically grabbed a bunch of the big shot spymasters at the time, put them on what was essentially a snipe hunt with alien technology as the prize. He knew some of them would betray the others, but no matter who won, he'd know who the top dogs were in the espionage world. If a secret cabal didn't exist, then he'd just have to make one, lest one crop up spontaneously.
>>
>>91083634
>Steve Rogers
>Zemo
>Kraken (probably)
>Faustus
>Zola (he counts)
>Otto
>Selvig
>Taskmaster
>Baron Mordo
>All those white guys in the Masters of Evil
>All the white Hydra goons
>>
>>91084199
>Kraken (probably)
He's clearly white. We may not see his face, but we could see enough of him to tell that he's white and has brown hair. Also, he's almost certainly Ian Zola-Rogers.
>>
>>91084147
Zemo's New Masters of Evil are the army that Zemo built for Steve as an anniversary gift (because Zemo is Best Boy). So they're, by extension, part of Hydra.

>Wait. So will they help Zemo's Masters of Evil 8.0 or try to kill them?
Zemo is part of Steve's inner circle, so I assume that they'll work with them.
>>
>>91083027
>Hickman and his charts

It's almost adorable how passionate he is about them
>>
>>91082982
>Hive is hte one I feel out of place, but I guess is to force the MCU shit
Just fucking say you don't read comics, /tv/
>>
>>91083157
When was Jake killed?
>>
>>91083198
>but he doesn't seem like the kind of guy who'd suddenly be loyal to Hydra

Indeed. But you have to remember that if Kobik warped reality as much as Spencer says, the Steve Ian knew was already Captain Keikaku. So he might have been influenced to think Hydra is great.
>>
>>91082993
Hive's dressings look comfy af
>>
>>91084147
>I'm sorry. Do you see any fucking starfish on the Hydra emblem?
No but I do see a head surrounded by tentacles
>>
>>91084147
>>91089488
Also, what does his appearance have to do with being manifestation of the WILL of Hydra?
>>
>>91083290
When was he last seen, anyways? One would assume that he would involve himself in something as massive as this.
>>
>>91089605
He was killed at the end of Secret Warriors. Then in Guggenheim's Agents of SHIELD comic after Secret Warriors, he was suddenly alive again and when asked how he came back, he basically just gave a non-answer about how he had contingency plans in place in case he ever died. He also brought back the Strucker twins giving the same non-answer about how he used the same method he used to bring himself back, without ever actually saying what that method was. It's Guggenheim though, so hack writing should be expected.

None of them have appeared outside of that AoS comic though, so until he does, I'm just going to head canon it as that being an alt-universe Strucker and his alt-universe kids that just went back to their own universe once Franklin and Reed got around to remaking it.
>>

Fixed.
>>
>>91082555
I do too
they arent even doing anything wrong this time according to our looks in the future

The Zemo Steve bromance thing as a result of Hydra Cap is sweet. No homo.
>>
>>91084826

He has the autism like us. Based Hickman.
>>
>>91091273

Fucking Guggenheim.
>>
>>91091520

Didn't the future Steve saw have the Capitol burning, internment camps, Hydra goons everywhere, etc?..
>>

>>
That's a nice table, but how do you vacuum under it?
>>
>>91093910
Exactly. Literally nothing wrong.
>>
>>91082555
That is a sweet table
But it would be a pain in the ass keeping those skinny pillars in place.
And forget about vacuuming.
>>
>>91087067
But why would Steve kidnap/rescue Ian from Zola if they were both HYDRA the whole time? I suppose you could argue that Zola was working with Red Skull, who we now know is a traitor, but then I'd counter by asking why would Elisa recruit Zola to the new HYDRA Council if he was a traitor the whole time?
>>
>>91083264
>Somebody in HYDRA betrays Steve
>Zemo saves the day
I really think these are going to be the same thing.

>Somebody dies and stays dead by the end of the event
Bucky? I could see it being Bucky.
>>
>>91082555
If it means I finally get a goddamn Gorgon Heroclix piece I'm all for it. I will never be not pissed they didn't give us a Gorgon in NFAoS.
