Genndy actually cares about the show and isn't just trying to make a profit and Adult Swim left the whole thing to him instead of trying to tweak the entire thing themselves.

It didn't get the write-off treatment like SymBionic Titan and Megas XLR got when it was cancelled.

Therefore it got a finale to wrap the story up.
