We don't know anything about this Batman, all of the interesting character stuff happened before BvS and so we're left with a character who acts nothing like the comic character for reasons we never see and then pulls a complete 180 in the last 15 minutes.

I mean he looks the part, but that doesn't mean anything. We don't know anything about the baseline of this character.

what do you mean, we know he had a long history of fighting crime, we know he used to have a robin that died, we know he blamed himself for robin's death, and we know he has at least once fought the joker. We also know he is obscenely wealthy, he has a good relationship with Alfred, he has tech skills, he works out a lot, and he owns at least one newspaper company.


Thats more than I know about most live action Batmen outside of Gotham and Keaton.

Yes. He could've been great in Suicide Squad if they hadn't deleted 90% of his scenes.

Also the way they decided to portray his relationship with Harley was disgusting.

They made no true effort to really do anything interesting with their abusive dynamic. It also felt odd considering Harley's role with the Suicide Squad operates best when the Joker is kept out of it, her character always thrived when it was extracted from that mess.

I like him the most, yes. Bale and Keaton were good, but I've personally never been this invested with a Batman.
Sure the movies haven't given us much of details about his personal escapades and many things we're just assuming and piecing together on our own based on the comicbook source material, but Batleck has great potential. He certainly is very different from the other Batmans. I just wish they would'd introduced him in his own movie first. Batfleck is clearly haunted and molded by his past, but we don't exactly know what that past is.

Still, I am very optimistic and i hope Affleck stays in the role.
