Jimmy. For the most part it's his damn fault when things go wrong. Dexter isn't immune to self-destruction either, but when things go south for him, it's usually related to Dee Dee or Mandark.

Phineas and Ferb have a much higher success rate then either of them and the Mysterious Force would end up cleaning up after the whole mess anyways.

Dexter is infinitely better at actually doing things, Jimmy is infinitely better at recovering once things blow up in his face. Once something blows up in Jimmy's face you're still probably gonna find a way out but once something blows up in Dexter's face it is fucking over man.

Phineas is a great at organizing resources and logistics. Not necessarily someone who's actually a genius at building robots and weapons and shit.

If you had Dexter with Phineas managing his plans they could defeat the Avengers with ease.

Phineas is the best 'ideas guy' of the lot, but he'll move on to something else pretty quickly. If he could be made to focus, he'd pretty much be unbeatable.

Dexter is the more rounded. He thinks up and builds pretty cool things, keeps them around for use, improves on them and many of his colossal fuck-ups aren't his fault.

Jimmy might be second only to Phineas, but his inventions *will* go wrong. What he's really, really good at is getting out of a bind.
