Good point, but I did say some households meaning that not every household relies on netflix exclusively. Some families might want HBO (and yes I know HBOGo would be the equivalent of Netflix for HBO shows) or other channels that don't have shows available or streaming yet. Presumably kids might also watch shows on nickelodeon, cartoon network, any place that doesn't have a deal with netflix yet. And when they see ads for voltron lions like in the show, they want them for their birthday or some other occasion

As a 1990-er, I'm fully aware the primary reason I'm smarter than my parents with technology is because I was born with it, and the same goes further with kids now born with mobile devices.

I guess I just don't know what a normal household with kids is like because I don't have kids myself. Maybe they'll develop them. This season seemed like the Keith season (Which was good, becaise that shit was needed), and the first was mostly Pidge and Shiro I thought.

I worry that they won't give the world and the Galra the development they deserve mostly, because of the pacing of the series. It moves so fast, and from one event to another so much, it rarely affords time to slow down and breathe. I think that's why people liked the Space Mall ep so much. It was genuinely funny (unlike a lot of the humor that just falls flat), as well as the fact that it developed the world, and gave us some past insight into Zarkon.

Carriers actually have a crew of about 6,000 people and I guesstimate that the Galra cruisers are about 4-5 carrier-lengths, plus that huge engine section and the weird nose, so a ship that size by modern standards would have like 30,000 to 40,000 people on it.

The Galra are more advanced than that, so we can assume their ships are highly automated even before accounting for the robotic crew, so the numbers could be significantly smaller, say 25,000 to 20,000. The robots definitely seem to make up the majority of the crew, anywhere from 70% to 90% of the total crew.

I end up with between 7,500 and 2,000 living Galra crew members. I haven't bothered using that figure to find how many Galra the Paladins have blown up, but it's A LOT.
