I remember two projects that had my attention. One was about an arab girl in what I guess was the Iranian Revolution (not talking of Persepolis) that had some pretty good looking trailers, the other was a steampunk movie being made by a former Disney animator.

This short "Bumble Boogie (from Melody Time)" is almost criminally underrated.
Visually psychedelic and super well-animated, simply, Disney animation at its best.
