I'm still butthurt over her appearance in LoK.

She had a short stature and round face, the typical "cute" look as a contrast to her tomboy persona. Then in LoK she just went full man-mode, everything elongated and sharp. It's like they forgot what made the originals work.

A normal person might well go insane from their brain trying to process the sensory input if out of the blue they got 360 vision. The symbiotic bond makes gaining these traits feel natural for the host. Toph would be fine.

Symbiote offspring aren't particularly better than their parents in any regard so much as they're different. Each one generally has its own specific areas where it excels, sometimes determined by the first person it bonds to and sometimes just because that's that symbiote's thing. The only symbiote that's been noted as outright superior to its precessor is Toxin in that it's much physically stronger than Venom or Carnage, and that's only because having maxed-out STR is it's unique trait. Carnage still ran circles around it when he swarmed it with his symbiote-controlled cultist army.

Well, you know how autism makes sensory information painful to process in extreme cases? That's because their brains formed in such a way that some functions have to be performed in a different location. A person born blind would likely have the part of their brain associated with eyesight and visualization so atrophied to be unusable.
