We've had a "flawed" Superman in MOS, flawed batman in BvS. Wondy was maybe the only "full power" character we saw in BvS if they use his rebirth to make Superman even more buffed. Flash could be "not in full control" yet which could explain the blue lightening and it's effect on the shit around him since he's not frictionless or whatever the bullshit speed force does (I fully admit I don't give a fuck about the flash). That would also provide a reason as to why he would need armor to protect him at higher speeds.

It's funny though my brother is the type of person who isn't just a normie, he's the type of kid who won't even watch the winter fucking soldier because "he doesn't like that marvel comic shit". His first comment when I sent him the trailer to get his typical snarky response was, I shit you not, "isn't flash's lightening supposed to be yellow."

This isn't perfect but notice how they never make him slow? Who's bright Idea was it to get a character who is supposed to go fast and put slow mo on him? Putting enough to understand what is happening makes sense but never to the point where the speedster is slower than a human.
