The storybook being a fake, I gather that the students saw what they expected to see. From what I understand Apple's understanding of the situation was Raven would poison her, knowing full well she'd be fine, Daring would wake her up, Apple would give Raven a slap on the wrist and then let her go back to her castle so they could raise their daughters and get on with their lives because that's what normally happens when Evil Queen doesn't try to destroy the universe. Raven sees the situation differently because her mom went coocoo and now she's on the headmaster's shitlist because her mom, again, tried to destroy the universe.

I do see a fair bit about Lizzie/Courtley, but I'm wondering if Courtley might be more positively inclined towards Apple overall, of the WtW crew.

Courtley's always resented Lizzie, so there is an emotional connection, but it's a negative one in both directions. Apple did save Courtley's life, even if she did it for Raven's sake more than Courtley's.

I did find it kinda odd you could vote for Raven to be one of Courtley's best friends what with the whole "we were literally in a DBZ-style fight to the death before Apple calmed Raven down" thing.
